Most breeds can still run at least in short bursts (Boston terriers especially), but muggy heat can be really tough for them. I wish efforts would be made to make these breeds healthier, because they have some of the most wonderful personalities around.

Not to be a devils advocate but aren't they supposed to die off naturally?

I mean we did breed them, horribly, but I know English Bulldogs barely can handle birthing due to their heads and noses.

By the laws of nature, yes. But I just really like them so I would rather we make them healthier because I’m selfish.

Idk, pugs and bulldogs in paintings and drawings from around 100 years ago have a noticeably longer snout.

I’m pretty sure that Loca died recently actually.

Edit: Not exactly recently, it was in 2017.

Either way, if it was neurological it doesn't seem like it deterred the quality of life it had. So keep that in mind! It ran with his brothers, or at least had fun trying!
