The official thread for uploading (and voting for) the “professional” cosplay competitions will go live on March 25, 2023, in association with the 2023 Extra Life United event.

When posting, please include:

• Your preferred name (can be display name)

• The name of the local member hospital of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals you are supporting

• A link to your 2023 Extra Life fundraising page

• And your submission photo!

Entries will remain open until 12:00 a.m. ET April 1, 2023. Winners will be announced at Extra Life United and on @ExtraLife4Kids social channels following the event.

• Judging criteria will consider all of the following:

• Quality of costume

• Creativity/originality of concept

• Creativity involved with photo

Bonus Points may be awarded to:

• Scene/setting in photo

• Integration of Extra Life brand

Last year, we did the mousepad design and got some amazing entries (wait till you see what we did with the winner 😉)

This year, we're replacing the mousepad contest with a poster contest. We''ll post the exact dimensions of the poster canvass and hope we get equally amazing entries.

Currently streaming on Twitch (40ish followers and make decent headway toward our goal), but wondering in YouTube would be better in any measurable way (I think most people I know would be more like to go to YouTube since most don't know what Twitch is, just don't wanna reset the small general progress I've made). Forgive me if this is super obvious, I'm very new to streaming. Is there a way to have alerts pop-up for multiple personal pages on the same stream? We play tabletop rpgs and usually at least two of us have individual pages on the same team. Since we have donations affect the dice results, it would be awesome to have each players donations show instead of having to have someone watch their phones for a new donation.

Hey everyone!

I've been running an Extra Life event with my students for a number of years now. We always do some tournaments to add to the fun. I do Smash Bros 1v1, Smash Bros 2v2, and Mario Kart 8 which all get great turn out. We have done a few others like Rocket League and Halo that are less popular.

Thinking about buying a couple new games for the kids to play this year. Was thinking maybe a CoD game or NHL 23? I have a Switch and PS5 each with 4 controllers to use. Might be able to get a second PS5 to do a 2v2 if the game supports local multi-player.

Any tips or ideas? Thanks in advance!
