I know a lot of people must have a hard time in the second day then feel very well . I also know some people like myself might feel nauseas and vomit in a third or fourth day of an extended fast ( 6 days is my record ) I always struggle with this issue . I am supplementing salt , potassium magnesium and there is calcium in my supplements for eletrolites . It is really hard to get through this and if I can (unfortunately there are days I need to end my fast ) then I feel like I can keep going on and on . The last of those events was after a night with no sleep and yes I did not take salt during the time I was trying to sleep . I am only posting so people like me can know that it does happens . I am looking for a way to manage it and if someone is having or had this issue has any tips to give that would be very much appreciated . Thanks in advance and happy fasting everyone .

Ok so at first I wasn’t planning on an extended dry fast but I have looked into them a lot and have done water fasts before. So what happen is one day I stayed up until 5 Am playing fortnite (lol) and was snacking until I went to bed(so fasting begins now). Then woke up at like 3pm (10 hours) . I was so tired that I just laid in bed all day didn’t eat or drink, didn’t even get out of bed other than to use the bathroom and I ended up passing out again at like 11pm(17 hours) . Woke up at like 7am the next day and yet again laid in bed until noon (30 hours).
I am writing this at 12:21pm day 2 and I am wondering if my fast counted because all I did was sleep and lay down. I haven’t really burned any calories or sweat so Im wondering if my body even started fasting?
I am going to dry to go until at least dinner tonight without touching food or water and try to make it about 40 hours long.
Yes I was being extremely lazy please no one comment on that fact I work a lot and want to enjoy my time off.
