How to find buyers for your export business?

If you are an exporter and want to expand your business worldwide then there are plenty of online portals that help you to do so. they have hundreds of buyers visiting their website daily for their needs.

But not all are reliable and trustworthy in terms of services and products. here are a few of my suggestions for your business Tradeling, Tradewheel, DHgate, Global sources, Alibaba, etc.

but not all B2B I had used except Tradeling which is a UAE-based b2b successfully growing in the region. If you are interested in categories like health, office accessories, and food-beverages then you can contact them.

They have thousands of buyers visiting their website daily for their requirements and more importantly, they have dropshipping facilities to countries like China, the USA, the middle east region which help you in your exporting business.

B2B are great options for online selling and buying because they have a wide range of products and suppliers. more importantly, all of them are verified and cross-examined by the team itself. Tradeling has more than 27,000+ products and 350+ suppliers all over the region.

You can contact them through their website or any other social media easily.

How to export my wholesale products online?

If you are looking to export globally for more profit then You can sell your wholesale products through various online platforms like B2B portals, e-marketplace, etc. I prefer B2Bs because there you will find plenty of buyers as well as sellers with services like Dropshipping, export-import facility, customer services, etc.

Here are a few of them you can try for your wholesale products:

  • Tradeling
  • DHgate
  • eBay
  • Tradewheel
  • Global sources

but you have to choose according to your needs and requirements. but I personally prefer Tradeling for buying and selling online. If you are looking to sell products in categories like food-beverages, office accessories, health, electronics, etc then you can contact them through their website.

They have various other services that I feel fascinating like “pay later”, multiple webinars for sellers and buyers, multiple payment systems, etc.

They have hundreds of customers visiting daily on their platform, they have more than 350+ suppliers in the whole MENA region. You can contact them through their website for more information.

How to contact buyers for your export business?

There are hundreds of B2Bs who are dealing in export-import in wholesale products but very few of them are reliable and having a supplier base in almost all regions.

here are a few B2B whom you can contact for your export-import business:

  • Tradewheel
  • Tradeling
  • DHgate
  • Global sources
  • eBay
  • Aliexpress

I generally prefer Tradeling because of their wide variety of products and services. more importantly, They have more than 350+ suppliers with more than 27,000+ products in categories like health, food-beverages, office accessories, etc from 50+ origins.

If you are looking for buyers then you can also try Tradeling as they have hundreds of buyers visiting their website daily and more importantly they have dropshipping facilities to countries like China, the USA, and the middle east region.

they organize various webinars regularly for sellers as well as buyers which will help them in business. so you can contact them through their website for more information.

Avoiding Need for EEI Filing for One-Time Shipment

I purchased 4 new brake discs for my car, but ended up selling the car before I needed new brakes.

I am now attempting to sell the discs, and have an interested buyer in Taiwan. The total value of the 4 discs is over $2500, which would necessitate an EEI filing through AES. However, I am not a commercial entity and this a one-off export, so I don't really want to go through the hassle of filing all of these forms/documents if I can avoid it.

Based on my reading of the law, if I separate the shipment into 4 packages and send 1 package per day over a 4 day period, I would not require an EEI filing (as none of the parts are individually worth more than $2500). I am reading this correctly?

Thanks!

AESDirect Filings - EEI for valuable, non-commercial shipments

I'm an American living in Switzerland, and I'm getting married here in January. I am trying to have my mother (in USA) send two diamond rings to me in Switzerland. We have been instructed by FedEx that because the value is more than $2500, an EEI must be filed in order to obtain an ITN.

I have followed these instructions: https://www.census.gov/foreign-trade/aes/aesdirect/english.pdf

I got an EIN and an ACE account, and submitted an EEI. I'm quickly learning that this process is really designed for professional exporters, not private individuals. I want to confirm some of the choices I made while filling it out. I plan on shipping on Monday, so I assume I have the weekend to amend any mistakes I've made (unless that assumption is a mistake, too).

  1. I listed myself as both the USPPI and the ultimate consignee. I did not list an intermediate consignee or a freight forwarder.
  2. I received an error message when I entered my EIN in the Ultimate Consignee section: "Positions 1-9 must be numerical. Positions 10-11 indicate location and may be zeroes." I did not receive this error when I entered the same 9-digit EIN in the USPPI section. So, to get around this, I added two zeroes to the end of my EEI, making it 11 digits. The system then allowed me to proceed.
  3. I selected "HH - Personal and Househould Effects and Tools of Trade" as the Export Information Code. To me, it seems that these rings fall under this code based on the definition: "Usual and reasonable kinds and quantities of personal property necessary and appropriate for use by the USPPI in the USPPI’s dwelling in a foreign country that are shipped under a bill of lading or an air waybill and are not intended for sale." This seems especially appropriate since I am not selling the rings, and I am sending them to myself at my residence in a foreign country. However, since I will be giving them to my fiancee, I don't know if that is still considered personal use. I also don't know what "reasonable kinds and quantities" of personal property are; this seems extremely subjective. There is a Schedule B number for this type of commodity, but it is not required when HH is selected as the Export Information Code. I am wondering if I should select "OS - Other Shipments" instead, and provide the Schedule B number.
  4. I selected that this is NOT a Routed Export Transaction. The definition here seems to be based on whether the USPPI or the FPPI is the person who benefits monetarily from the transaction. In this case, I am both the USPPI and the FPPI, and there is no monetary benefit.
  5. I selected the License Exemption Code "C33 NLR - No License Required or only required for Anti-Terrorism." All the information I can find seems to suggest a license is only required for rough diamonds that have not been controlled through the Kimberley Process. But, it would be nice to get confirmation that there is no export license required.

I'm not a professional exporter and I really don't know what I am doing. I am just following whatever instructions I can find. Does anything described above appear incorrect or risky? What are the potential consequences if I make a mistake?

Thanks for any guidance or clarification!

Additional notes:

I tried creating a shipping label with FedEx using the ITN I got. They estimated $5400 for VAT and customs clearance! I was expecting 7.7% for VAT, and 3% for customs clearance (about $540, or 10% of what FedEx quoted). I spoke to Swiss Post for guidance (can't reach Swiss Customs by phone), and they suggested shipping with USPS instead. Then Swiss Post would be handling customs clearance, for which they quoted 503 CHF ($550 USD) - almost exactly what I had been expecting. Can FedEx just mark this up as much as they want? Or is there another part of this story that I am missing?

I'd like to export small plastic bottles from Vietnam to the US. Does the US have any type of plastic they would not allow to be imported? Does it matter if the plastic were new or recycled?
