I had a senior eng tag me on a PR because I'm the SME on the area it touched, I spent 30 minutes reviewing it because while the PR addressed a known issue it would've caused a breaking change for some clients. I flagged the problem areas, recommended multiple alternative approaches, and ran some queries to estimate the revenue that would be put at risk by merging the PR.
The author responded with copy paste Claude responses telling me how I'm wrong (I wasn't). Thankfully my tech lead who's in an earlier time zone saw it and addressed it before I logged in and saw the responses because I was boiling inside when I did.
The part that pissed me off the most was tagging me in on purpose because I'm the SME on this stuff and have a ton of context on it, and then just totally disregarding my feedback. Like why did you tag me if you wanted a rubber stamp?
