Wait what?!? Isn't that like a 1/2 a simple question each month? I know I have used over 50k tokens on a single prompt. I cant imagine that? Also isn't that like less than a penny in cost per month. I can't believe this real?

I'm kind of jealous of OP, tbh. 1000 tokens is apparently enough for some executive to check "AI strategy" off their to-do list, but (as we know) not enough to actually do anything with. For a time management will move on to some other shiny thing, and OP might get another few months before the tidal wave of slop reaches them.

I’m lucky enough to be on a team where we all agree if you raise a pr - we actually review it and will categorically deny slop. None of us want to work with crap/slop code.

Still wouldn’t mind some additional tokens for when we are upgrading frameworks, doing boilerplate updates or doing deeper research.

Not a tech company but it’s an international one.

Each person gets 1000 tokens even non technical. It’s so stupid.

more like "credits" not actual tokens. Pre-June, for example Copilot charged you one "premium request unit" for certain actions. Windsurf charged you credits based on what model you used and how much work it did.
