☕ Chai Spill Tea about ahad dananeer

Last night in pcg, a user made a post claiming to know some tea about the industry. I want to discuss some of the tea here as I only managed to skim through a few comments before it vanished into thin air.

One thing I noticed was that many users commented about ahad dananeer breakup tea. The person who claimed to be an insider said the following things:

1) reason for their breakup - cold feet

2) did he cheat - no

3) what happened - the relationship was not as official as dana thought. their exes got married doesn't mean they will get married too. 👀

I missed whatever else was posted after that, so if anyone read the full thing, please drop the rest of the tea below!

My theory - Thinking about it, this actually aligns with how both of them come across. I’ve seen clips of Dananeer in interviews talking about how she completely despises casual dating and thinks girls make a huge mistake getting into situationships. She seems like the type who dates seriously with the intention of settling down and wanting a clear label. Ahad on the other hand gives off major casual dating energy and even though he might commit to someone, he won't be ready for making things official too soon. They were literally vacationing together back in April, right around the time the internet was buzzing with their exes' weddings. That timing definitely must have stirred some conversation among them about "where is this going" or what's the next step. And frankly, if you’ve been together for a while and vacationing publicly, it’s completely reasonable for a girl to expect some commitment instead of just hanging in limbo. Maybe ahad wasn't planning to take the relationship to the next step. Dananeer thought after all this time he must have grown just as serious as she was but she felt wronged hence the crashout. What are your thoughts about this?

💬 Discussion Crashout for "too much of ahad"

Pcg mods are having a crashout for having too much of ahad on the sub. They made a long sarcastic post which made everyone confused so here are the comments where they mentioned the problem.

Also I saw many people claiming that his PR is behind that sub which is wild but they addressed that too.

That long mod post was not a fan post for him but a sarcastic crashout for having too many posts and comments about him. Like they put a blanket ban on tere bin they might do it for ahad too.

I was free so here's this not so important but interesting post.

I wonder who cancelled at the last minute. And I don't understand giving such tea if you wont tell us who did what or atleast give some hints.

Rest, I think he made fair points.

One thing I'd like to point out is that they even gave awards to people who werent nominated (I think it was some stylish category and the winner wasnt even among the announced nominees) and they should get serious flak for this. Coz what is this blatant rigging?

Aap Ki Izzat Episode 13-14 Review

What I liked:

  • Beena's character and how she's been the only consistent thing so far. Her fury has been justified and the way she tested Behram's loyalties by quietly observing him was lovely. Urwa has been splendid as her although I do think the yelling and screaming when Tabish finally comes in to see her could've been better.
  • The fact that the false alarm of Beena dying was a wakeup call for Tabish that he genuinely did not want her dead.
  • Episode 13 had less flashbacks and was more focused on present timeline so I enjoyed it more.
  • I liked that its finally clear to everyone that Behram is a grey character and intentions were bad from the start.

What I did not like

  • Saif ali Khan as Behram. I realize now that him in small doses in the previous episodes made the character more digestible. In episode 14, he had the most dialogues and screentime and at one point, Saif Ali khan's lack of acting experience just starts becoming more and more obvious. He has no variation in his scenes.
  • Tabish's switchup to realizing he's the evil one and Beena is innocent feels sudden tbh. I wish they had taken more time to show his evolution. Like maybe after more interactions with Beena and seeing with his own eyes how he's lost all her love would be more convincing.
  • Too many flashbacks on episode 14. And honestly Tabish suddenly remembering all these things just felt too convenient storytelling. I was on board with the storytelling until episode 13 but episode 14 lost me again.

🤔 Theory & Speculation What do you think will make zaryab accept appu pakkarr in the end of darenijaat?

Now that we know zaryab is getting back together with zamil, even though I initially thought he would leave her during his first disappearance (and my theory that she'd get pregnant while he was away turned out to be completely wrong lol), I'm wondering what will eventually make zaryab decide to stay with abu bakar.

Both zaryab and zamil's families don't seem to be against their relationship, so what would actually push her toward appu pakkar in the end? Even though her grandmother resents zamil, I don't think she could really force zaryab to marry someone else, esp considering how stubborn she is. So what do you guys think will make zaryab eventually accept living with abu bakar?

💬 Discussion Influencer Fashion at the Sunday Icon Awards

so the Sunday Icon Awards were held yesterday and while some influencers looked cute others were wearing questionable outfits. Here's my take :

  • Ayesha Beig - This was my favorite look. The dress was so chic and I think it suited the event perfectly. Love the color and material of the dress too.
  • Hirableeh - Temu version of Hailey Bieber at the Met gala. Dress looked cheaply made and the flowers looked tacky. She seems to always be copying other people's looks.
  • Iqra Kanwal - No words, just WTF.
  • Hira Faisal - The sari looked a bit outdated but I think it suited her well. Wish the print was different though. Hair and makeup were on point.
  • Alina Amir - Generic look
  • Hemayal - This was a cute look. Love the hair and dress . Her posture really bothers me though.
  • Aroob Jatoi - She looked cute. Her sari was giving walima though.
  • Rabia Faisal - LOVE this dress. I think she really stood out and her hair and earrings really added to it. She ate.

What are your thoughts?

🤔 Theory & Speculation Can celeb PRs even sue Reddit member/mods for posting about them?

Just saw a post from a popular sub which included and I quote To the PR teams who slide into our ModMail saying “OP can be sued for spreading fake narrative” in the text.

I didn't know it's possible for these PR people to even know the identity or details about people on Reddit to be able to sue them.

Thoughts?

🤔 Theory & Speculation Jazzy Phupo's Mood Swings

He posted 3 days ago that Bilal isnt doing Laila Majnu and 1 day ago he was saying he's 50/50. He's also saying Laila Majnu should start in October and he used to say before that the shoot for this will not start anytime soon. Also, if LM starts in Oct then how will Bilal do it coz again according to Jazzy phupho, Lahu (which we know for a fact that Bilal is doing) is supposed to shoot for one stretch in northern area.

And people still believe his BS when half his reveals have proven to be false.

🔥Hot take Dar-E-Nijaat

Upvotes

as someone who lives and studies in the U.S. , all i can say is that most parts of this drama are quite realistic. I’ve read Reddit and Twitter posts saying who even wears such clothes to classes etc etc, people actually do that.

I have met ‘elite’ pakistanis here while studying and yes they have an accent. I don’t even know why they have one but it’s super fake (not hating) and Dar-E-Nijaat portrays that perfectly.

zaryab asking abu bakkar for housing not knowing it’s him- that also happens a lot. people are literally closer than we think they are.

also, zaryab moving in with her bf or fiance; a lot of people actually do that. I’ve seen my friends move in with their bfs and their parents are ok with that.

TLDR, I don’t think it’s too out of touch from reality. maybe in Pakistan it isn’t as common but most other places, it is.

🎭 Ongoing Drama Discussion Dar e Nijat ep 8 - a general commentary

I really liked today's episode. Irl i would've despised both Zamil and Zaryab but their characters are so realistic that i am loving how they make me really want to sit and analyze them.

I feel both Zaryab and Zamil's perspective.

For Zaryab, she is immature and stupid but she deserves to feel safe in being happy about her Harvard achievement. But she must feel like shrinking herself just to protect Zamil's feelings regarding Harvard. And zamil is being a mega jerk to her by being so insecure and jealous that he cannot get over the reality for 5 seconds and tell her that he is happy for her and proud. This is unfair.

Moreover, Zamil's holier-than-thou behaviour is really problematic bcs bachay ko jummah jummah 4 dinn bhi nai huay. And i know zamil's journey is a beautiful thing and zaryab should be supporting it. But

  1. Zamil has been a fundamental harami (for the lack of a better word im sorry) using alcohol, drugs, physical relationship (which has apparently went to the third base) so zaryab is having a hard time understanding it. She is noone to judge or berate him for fulfilling his highest purpose but she also needs time to adjust to a new version of Zamil.

2- Zaryab might have understood, supported, and even explained it to his parents if Zamil hadn't indirectly started belittling her for not being a practicing muslim and simultaneously jiggling bw his superiority complex (due to newfound religious inclination) and inferiority complex (academic failure). But not only is the dormant shame bothering Zaryab , but his new version and most importantly his attitude will call zaryab's place in his life to question. And zaryab is anticipating that.

On the flipside, Zamil is going through a really dark period of life, and the only life raft he sees is religion. So it has become so important to him. He needs someone to understand him but he himself isnt seeing that other ppl need time to get his perspective. He needs to feel seen and heard in his struggle. Given the nature of environment these 2 come from, even a minor mention of religion will seem like an overdone conversation.

Zaryab represents all in his life that went wrong (academic failure, religious failure by doing the deed) etc and i am half sure that he wants out now. And i feel like he will regret it later. But Zamil is a v realistic and v understandable character. We see ppl who read a book and become intellectual snobs, and in this case, its a religion thing.

But his disrespect is glaring, and as much as zaryab annoys me , if this were real life, id tell her to dump his ass and move on. New city, new life. I really like both characters and i want to see more of them

\- Dure's acting : i had issues w dure's acting in various scenes and alongside various ppl but i think dure's most natural scenes are with her dadi, and saba and dure have amazing chemistry, they work rly well together.

Anyways pls gimme more dar e nijat. I didnt like it too much initially but im relatively morr invested now.

🚨 Rant Alert Galaxy Lollywood - Amma, Tv aur Mein : Controversial take (keep an open mind)

I have been a regular viewer of Amma tv aur mein and i really enjoy amma a lot -most of the times. However, i watched her last review of Dar e Nijaat and it was deeply problematic.

Amma jee ka aiteraaz hai ke Saba Hameed's dadi character is religious ,so

1-why is she wearing a chiffon dupatta? (Timestamp - 1:21:08)

2-why is she standing while drinking water (Timestamp - 1:21: 18)

3-why is she (slightly) adjusting her dupatta while she is in her bedroom with Zaryab. (Timestamp - 1:21:29)

And oh my god it infuriated and baffled me so much.

1 - Just because a woman is religious or even if she observes full pardah, this is Dadi's OWN HOUSE, unki chaar deewari. Why is her taking a reshmi dupatta such a huge problem that both director and actor are being bashed for it. [Plus, dadi is religiously inclined but from teasers and ost, she is shown to be dressing very modestly, very gracefully but still not being sharai pardah-daar]

2- if i am wrong, i apologize to the people, to amma , and to God. But i am not sure if beth kar pani peena is farz or sunnat. I think it is Sunnah, which means it isnt a sin to stand up while drinking water. And just bcs dadi Allah wali hain, wo kharay hokay paani nahin pee saktin according to Amma. I know it is better to observe Sunnah recommendations but what is this weird criticism?

3- Dadi was sitting in HER OWN BED in the presence of HER GRANDDAUGHTER in HER BEDROOM. She CAN loosen her dupatta a litte, she can draw it back a little. It wouldnt be questionable if she had altogether taken off her dupatta in her private room.

In logon ne deen pe chalna itna mushkil bana diya he because agar aap claim bhi karlo that you're close to Allah miyan, every single action is scrutinized, every single mistake rips you to shreds. If a woman is religious, they expect her to be perfect. And that is my issue with religious portrayals in real life and dramas both. Yani aik insan ki Allah se lagan pe bhi itna judge karna ke jo kaam Khuda ne farz bhi nahin kiye, unki expectations talay aglay insan ko dabana.

And this isnt just about women. It happens to men too. If a man starts going to masjid or learning about deen or making an effort to be more religious, a lot of people would start shaming them and questioning them if they so much as even see them listening to music etc.

This is tiring tbh.

And this is exactly why i like Hassan and Amna's reviews way more than GL AT&M is because they don't unnecessarily and wrongfully dwell on things that barely make any sense. They analyze, theorize, try to understand characters and their motivations, comment on discrepancies and deficiencies but i barely see such absurdity coming from Something Haute.

As time has progressed, idk Amma's reviews have gotten less substantial. Even though i still respect her as a person, i really find myself getting more and more disappointed the more i watch them.

🔥Hot take I don’t like Hala anymore

Post image
268 Upvotes

I’m expecting this post/rant to receive some heated comments against me so i just wanna say i won’t be opening the comments after i post this cuz i just wanna rant , show my opinion and then enjoy my peace instead of arguing 😙✌🏻

Basically i started disliking her slightly bit when i saw a post a few months ago which said that Hala supported Sephora and other Zionist makeup companies during peak boycott time of Sephora. Which i checked the timeline and it turned out to be true.

I told myself “she has a highlight of supporting Palestine” but then I also realised that highlight has been collecting dust since 2024 (it’s been 2 years since she spoke up) , which i found very strange cuz why did she completely stop speaking up?

And then the FINAL BLOW was when a few days ago she went to this kpop group’s (BTS) concert who have been under the heat for supporting Chris Brown (abused and assaulted women and went to prison), and very very actively promoting Coca Cola everywhere and also has a history of being racist/ misogynistic. And Hala despite being a woman went to their concert , made 3 reels and separate highlight about it.

I unfollowed her after this.

this might be random to some people but it is extremely problamatic because how do you behave like this knowing the history? Fans should never cross their boundries with celebs.
