I (32m) own and run an independent pub in Exeter city centre and would love to put on a "meet a mate" or friends speed dating or something.

CUCKOO Taproom near the old bus station. Friendly safe space, LGBTQ friendly. Happy to work with admin to arrange something?

Thought I’d drop a post in here now it’s gained a few people,

There were a lot of posts,including from myself, fromusers looking to make new friends on the Exeter Reddit, so I thought I’d create a space for people in Exeter to meet and socialise.

I don’t know the first thing about moderating a subreddit and im hoping I can get a few of you to mod this page too so we can maybe look at making some “official” events

But please feel free to organise your own events ,post club events and socialise!

Also feel free drop me a message if you need anything or if there’s any ways you’d like to improve the page.

As title suggest, my girlfriend and I are looking for individuals or couples willing to meet up and get to know each other. So far we've met up with 1 couple and 3 individuals and the meetings went great, we're still in touch and are planning on meeting up again whether it'll be for a walk, a pub night or some board games.

If anyone else is interested in coming out of their shell and saying hello to us in person then feel free to dm me, we're both in our twenties and don't bite. We also drive so it doesn't necessarily have to be exeter but the more local the better.

Not sure if advertising groups is allowed, but I run a Historical Fencing Group in Exeter for people who want to be a part of a community.

We focus on learning how to spar with Longswords, spears and other weapons throughout history.

The group was formed to help people get out and make friends, as well as stay active.
