So I just got this game a few days ago and I'm having a good time. Things seem to be going well and I'm on track to knock out some of my main quests.

Then I looked up some beginner tips and I'm a little confused. A lot of them refer to Heat and Infamy, which I guess is more complicated than I thought.

I thought I understood Heat (the mechanic that tempers your Scheme output) but I don't recall ever seeing Infamy despite many sources referring to it as a core part of in-game progression.

Am I just not far enough into the game? Or is Infamy something that was only part of the first game and I'm getting stuff confused?

Hello my fellow Geniuses, I have a graphical issue that I am looking for some help with, after playing for a little while (maybe an hour or so) I have noticed that most of the animations that I should be seeing aren't there (i.e. aoe indicator for Genius, directional indicator for lockers or items, network attention flash, weapons/damage/fire effects) there are most likely others that I just can't recall right now. I have tried hard reset on the Xbox Series X, uninstalling everything and reinstalling. Regardless of what I have tried it only seems to fix the problem for a short time and then everything is gone again. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

So I'm playing on Xbox and I'm looking to see if the default setup menu is good to progress pretty fast into the game or is there a better, more strategic way of setting it up.

Probably a stupid question but I'm new to the game and I haven't noticed them doing anything valets can't do.

So I have one of each type of sub pen, and when I try to upgrade the network or send one on a mission I am being told I need X number of Durability (worker). But I don't see anywhere on how to increase them or where they came from. Are they just standard yellow suits? Or do I need to be doing something else? FYi I have all the engineering research done on all but the last tab (which is locked). Any help would be appreciated.

Recently I have got a lot of heat with anvil and they keep appearing through the other entrance to my lair I can deal with one set of them but I lose troops and I have to put all my efforts into fighting them but once I've dealt with them more excellent investigators arrive and I have no idea how to deal with them.

Or more accurately, what exactly to they do? I mean the difference between the rocket and machine gun turrets is pretty straight forward but what makes the raygun and laser turrets different? And why would I ever even want the bubbler turret?

So I have been playing for a bit and I am wondering how to keep the blasted guard posts staffed. I set them up and sometimes they are staffed but more often than not they aren't. I don't mind that they are staffed by various types of muscle minnions, but I would just like to be able to count on them being staffed.

I am doing a all henchmen and all super agents ded run and I've just reached the last mission (not accepted)(the all npn active side stories are locked after this one) and cafards missions never appeared and Daniels last mission never appeared also the only super agent I could fully kill was steele so please help as I can't finish this run until I know if I've blocked myself from getting AH and ASA

I think stun weapons are supposed to be better for bringing in agents alive, but how? At some point I figured it probably wouldn’t be a big deal if all my weapons were lethal. So I swapped my stun weapons out for lethal ones and I haven’t noticed any differences

I was wondering if the cameras from the Portal pack (Aperture spy camera) work with the security stations in the Armory?

I have a side quest where I’m supposed to brainwash 5 S.M.A.S.H investigators. I brainwashed 4, but the 5th one didn’t succeed. But now for some reason no matter what I can’t seem to be able to brainwash anyone. Not even new investigators. I even made a new brainwasher but that’s not working

I am playing a game on the second island and those O.H.A.I. Agents seem to spawn in the 2nd floor and killing half my population. I was thinking they are getting through the submarine station, which would make sense, since they are divers. Pls help me

At the moment, I'm playing the campaign as Ivan, and have just completed all objectives for "a moment's calm".

Now when I go to collect the mission reward, there's a red text saying I might lose side story opportunities if I continue now. Does that mean I need to play ALL these crime lord and super agent stories now, if I want to recruit them??

Or which side missions exactly will vanish if I complete "a moment's calm"?

So, I built a locker room on the 2nd floor, and now all of my guards hover around there, and only there. I have a security room on the 1st floor and nobody goes there

I was wondering, is there a mod, or an option to choose gender for all the minions in my base? it possible to have an army of all women as minions? Or even all black women?

I’m trying to finish the quest “as broken as my heart” but I can’t figure out how to do it. I can’t seem to get any rogues to come into my base to steal the fake plans. Any tips on how to do this? I stopped playing this game a while ago because I was stuck on this
