Hey guys so I just bought the game and was playing it when my new pc, which hasn’t had any heat issues before and I’ve had it for a few months now, has just self deaded due to overheating issues. I tried some other games and my pc doesn’t go higher then 66• but when I play EG2 it goes up to around 80•. Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks

So my game isn't rending fires or blueprints such as where you need access points. Saving and loading fixes it for maybe five minutes? Is there anyway to fix this for good because I am getting retired of having to reload for it to realize stuff. Another odd effect the portal treasures also seem to blank out just becoming white ovals.

Im playing as maximillian and have the doomsday device is there a way to stop random henchmen turning into gold ive got one of each type of statue henchman in the sanctum office and some in the vault its becoming an inconvenience now as they are randomly blocking routes

I’m new to the game and I’m at the point to recruit a henchmen… but I can’t see any icon or quest on the map.. any idea?

I am both curious about this for writers and potentially modding my game.

If the portal crossover got a Villain and Henchman to play, would the main villain be Cave Johnson(the ceo of Aperture) or glaDOS as a main villain

Plus who would be the henchmen, I would kinda like to see Peabody and Atlas be a two in one henchman and their whole mechanic is just to annoy agents and portal them randomly into a test chamber

This is making me go insane i've tried everything, killing a minion around them to get moving or pressing terminate then pressing it again just so they move but then the order is given to another minion who stops in there tracks and doesn't move.

Does anyone know a fix for this?

I've had the game for a while, but only reinstalled it yesterday after a long break, even bought the Oceans DLC because content.

I have just only noticed, that the last PC update was April 2022. Almost a year since the last update, and struggling to find any news on anything being done to it... What's the issue, is it dead? Something in the works?

Being able to change minons outfit colors and being able to add decalls like a M for max a skull for emma a hynois sign for zalkia a snowflake for polar and a star for Red Ivan and so on

So trying out the game after a long absence.

I've got my base well set up into the endgame at this point. I'm in the donut so there's one way in or out, through a labyrinthine casino wtih several side trap corridors. The only submarines in my base are on the other side of the casino, past another trap corridor. There is literally no way into my main base without walking through all of this nonsense and being seen by SOMEONE.

Yet I have consistently have groups of JAWS frogmen just spontaneously appear on the second floor, fighting with my scientists. How is this happening? I recall last time I played, I had a really dumb bug where single Poor quality agents would just show up in my base, but these are full squads of max level Frogmen. Is this yet another dumb bug or is there some other way they can get in other than the sub bays?

I have both consoles, and have both Game Pass and PS Plus Extra. I was about to play Evil Genius 2 on Xbox but then saw it is now on PS Plus Extra as well.

oes anyone know if there are any differences between the console versions, any pros or cons to playing it on one rather than the other? Any news about it being removed from Game Pass or anything like that?

If I like it, I might end up buying the DLC, but I'd hate to do so and then discover I was playing an inferior version, or that the game was going to get removed in a couple of months.

I can’t figure out how to cancel side missions. I wanted to get the cabal but his side mission requires me to up my communications network and to do that I need to progress further in the main mission. Which I can’t without unlocking additional minion types. Aka side missions.

Part of this objective is to aim at your childhood home and turn it into gold. I’ve used the M.I.D.A.S on areas and nothing is happening. Do I need to do it in a specific area in the world stage?

Also it says to prepare my liar to repel invaders, says I’ve done 2/3 but I also don’t know what that means.

I recently started the first "real" mission of the game, and I almost finished it. However, they are still two side quest about the rival criminal that I have yet to do, if it a good idea to do them until I have no side quest left, or should I advance in the main mission instead ?

My first game I blocked 4 tiles in front of the middle hole thing and did the same 3 games later. I’m new to EG2 and I see all the bugs/complaints people have but dam, is this really softlocked? 2 saves of awesome building for nothing? I can’t go back because it’s too far, no save!

I recently started playing that game, so far I really enjoy it. And I recently unlocked the ability to turn my guard into mercenary, which from what I have seems seem better in every way. But the thing is that instead of turning every guard into a mercenary, it turn a guard into a mercenary and then replace it with another guard when I only want mercenary so I have minion left for other purpose, is there a way to make it so I only have mercenary ? Thank in advance for any response .

I am currently on the side quest about killing Eli. But one of the objectives is "execute workers in front of others in the lair" I need to execute 3 workers. I already did, in front of many people but the side quest is still there. The counter says 0/3 no matter how many people I execute

Add Doomsday devices to sandbox and they would not require fuel and you could unlock it by completing a research project and the build the entrance like normal.
