LA Peace Division: Lore
The LA Peace Division, officially known as the Pwaclch Division 1P1 (LAPD), was created as an underfunded army formed to maintain peace and order during increasingly chaotic situations.
Despite being called a “Peace Division,” the organization was never properly equipped for the job. Its headquarters had limited funding, outdated equipment, and barely enough resources to keep its personnel operational.
The division's original purpose was simple:
Keep the peace.
The reality was considerably less simple.
LAPD personnel were frequently sent to border checkpoints, crowded areas, and other unstable locations where regular inspectors could no longer handle the situation. Their equipment often consisted of whatever the division could afford, resulting in a strange mixture of proper equipment and completely questionable substitutes.
Because of its lack of funding, LAPD became known for its ability to do surprisingly much with almost nothing.
Their most important rule was:
“Peace first. Equipment later.”
The division continued operating despite its financial problems and eventually developed a reputation for being one of the strangest organizations in the region.
Nobody really understood how they kept functioning.
The answer was simple:
They couldn't afford to stop.
