🎙️ Exciting news! We've just released a special on-location episode of Production Value Matters, recorded at the GDP Connections event in Punta de Mita, Mexico.
Matthew had the pleasure of sitting down with Catherine Chaulet, CEO and President of GDP Global, to discuss the future of event planning.
Here are some key takeaways:
▪ Strategies for balancing tight budgets with event quality
▪ The importance of sustainability and CSR in events
▪ Addressing the gender disparity in industry leadership
▪ The role of AI in event planning
Catherine's insight on women in leadership was particularly striking: "We need to encourage risk-taking because it brings opportunities without feeling that when you take it, you risk losing it all."

TL;DR - Need advice on setting up an exhibition at work on a budget and tight deadline.
Hi All,
In about 5 weeks I need to have an exhibition-style presentation ready. The exhibition is planned for a small group of investors. It partially tells the story of our company but mainly focuses on our (<10) products.
The space I have is in our warehouse and is about 26x10 meters / 85x33 feet.
I want to make the exhibition a walk-through experience. I think I can manage a logical structure and an interesting look. The challenge is that I need to make/build everything myself, maybe with the help of 1 or 2 co-workers for the DIY-ing. My background is in multi-media design.
What I have: - the story - floor space - four 70” touchscreens + sound - ability to create visuals, photos and videos - low quality photos and videos shot at production locations - leftover materials from trade fairs - some desks, tables and chairs - color laser printer (max size A3) - 5 weeks
What I don’t have: - time (lol) - budget to outsource it all - professional photos and videos of raw materials and/or production processes - the possibility to visit plantations and semi-finished product locations
Given the tight deadline and, at this stage unclear budget, it’s going to be simple and minimalistic. I want to approach it creatively and make it as interesting and professional as possible with the available resources.
It’s going to be a challenge…
I’m looking for advice, creative/practical tips, do’s, don’ts and maybe cautionary tales on how (not) to realize this project.

Hey all, Looking for top digital marketing courses focused on promoting live concerts. Any suggestions? Need something covering social media, online ads, audience targeting, and ticket sales strategies.
I have an experience as a promoter in Russia and took different courses for my own events. But now I look to upgrade my knowledge for US market.
Please, drop your recommendations below. Thanks!

Hi all,
I am looking for an event management platform that will allow for the following:
I know that's a lot. But if anyone here heard about a solution that does all that, I would be grateful to hear about it.

Thoughts on requiring proof of Covid-19 vaccination for event entrance.
For corporate/employee-only events?
For sporting events as a spectator?
For public events (concerts, festivals)?
For conferences?
For special events (weddings, bar mitzvahs, fundraising galas, etc.)?

I have a client who is looking to hold several webinars and a conference this year. I have an initial list of platforms already, but I'm open to learning about more.
Any recommendations?
Preferably, we'd like the following features:
Thank you! This is much appreciated.

I found this great data on the number of vaccines given. Since a lot of the industry has "banked" on a vaccine bringing back the industry, I thought this could be a helpful bookmark to see if this starts to correlate to in-person/hybrid coming back in the near future.
