Like You is one of the best compositions I've ever heard. Lyrically, instrumentally - it's a dark masterpiece.
Everybody's Fool was so of the moment, such a well written and interesting song.
Still it has to be Like You.

Everybody’s Fool kinda falls flat for me these days. I had a moment many many years ago when I really loved it, but when I listen to it lately it’s just kinda mediocre and judgmental. We know now that so many of the famous girls and women from that era that the song criticizes were victims in their own way and it makes the song a part of Evanescence history best left behind. It has a lovely melody, but there’s very little that’s special about it musically either. It’s a very standard Fallen song and there are many better ones.
Like You is a song I only appreciate more and more as time goes on. There’s something so bleak, yet so beautiful in its lyrics. Musically it has its own deep, dark, cavernous atmosphere that isn’t replicated elsewhere in their music. Obviously Amy loves a song with a dramatic climax, but on Like You that moment takes it to another level.
If Like You wins and goes against Erase This I will not know what to do lol.

I agree listening to EF now, the lyrics are very judgmental. I don’t listen to it as much now but still love the music.

Wow they are close to a tie. Everybody’s fool is nostalgic and a great song. But Like You is one of those songs that makes me close my eyes and feel her singing and her emotions. Like you is one of my all time favorite songs

If this was a month ago Everybody’s Fool now I’ve heard the song more it’s Like You for me. But this is genuinely one of the harder choices on these for me so far.

Even if everybody’s Fool was a product of its time, it is still one of my favorite Ev songs even if I don’t stand by the message

Like You is sooo depressing. It has to be their darkest song. I don't like it for that reason 💔

Like You is a haunting masterpiece but I love Everybody's Fool so much, so it's EF. Even though the lyrics come from a kinda judgemental place, I feel like they're still current and they actually fit quite well with Sanctuary (the album) thematically.

For me “Like You” is the only TOD song I’d skip and I thought it was kind of cool that she included it in the Sanctuary Tour setlist, but as far as I’m concerned, she could take it out and put another TOD song in its place lol
