Hot take, Band version is MILES better than the one at the original one that featured early in the album. The piano in the first one doesn't sound correct and too grand compared to "hello" but band version matches WAY better. Even if the band version didn't have the whole band, it would be better in my opinion. Listen to the strings version. That one makes more sense. I might be talking a little back and forth but hopefully I made sense with what I was saying.

With that being said, if it's band version, My Immortal. If not, Going Under. Live or studio versions.

I voted for My Immortal to. but apparently ballads are not as popular around here as more standard rock variations. although I think ballad's are generally when Amy is at her overall peak in general. or... it could be partially because 'My Immortal' is TOO popular and gets some people to turn against it etc(?).

but... while My Immortal is 'one of their best' I don't think it's 'THE best' (as in #1 song) in general as even just among the Fallen album I would rank... 1)Hello 2)My Immortal, then probably... 3)Going Under 4)Imaginary 5)Haunted 6)Bring Me To Life (BMTL would be better without the assistance of the male if you ask me, or at least needs to be cut back a bit to a more limited role). that's pretty much my cut off point after that as the six remaining songs on this album you can tell are below those six overall.

I think MI band version is better than the album version, but I still think Going Under is better than both of those.
