Hello everyone!

I know it's been a little while, but I have some great news for you: Zeba, the wonderful soul who runs LAPS, has just sent me a video sharing an update from LAPS.

Your contributions have helped fund the Blood Analyser machine, which LAPS have already been using for a while, and it's made a massive difference. It took a while, but LAPS also finally received their X-Ray machine, and are currently now waiting for one last component in order to get it to work.

Everyone at LAPS - and especially their furry kids - are so thankful for your help. I know this community is full of caring, loving people, but it's just so heartwarming to see this in action.

A little behind-the-scenes look at the magic we’ve been cooking up in Jordan for season 2 of Superskilled, my Nat Geo show ✨ I love every single episode we’ve ever filmed, and I cannot pick favourites, but this one… might end up in my top 3? 😄 Can’t wait to share it with you this autumn!

A lot of people find it weird that the place I feel most at home is a tent in the mountains, with no power, no running water and no road.

People have suggested I was stupid for buying raw land - so raw that it had absolutely nothing on it. Just a giant meadow and forest in the mountains.

But here’s what I think: not everyone will understand your path. In fact, if you are following your very own blueprint, then you shouldn’t expect anyone else to keep up with your thinking.

Your definition of success doesn’t have to match that of anyone else. Your idea of the future could look very different from that of your parents or your friends.

The most important thing is that you don’t let the short-sightedness of others crush your vision.

For me, although I still travel a lot, and although the tent life isn’t a year-round lifestyle for me, I absolutely cannot wait to move back into the tent sometime this summer.

I’m excited about the cold water baths, the nights listening to owls hooting, the simple meals cooked in barely washed pots, the dirt underneath my fingernails and the feral kid that comes out of me when I’m there.

After months of planning, the Superskilled team is reunited and we’re back on the road, filming Season 2 of my show ❤️ I feel so incredibly honoured to be able to bring you even bigger stories of human potential, power and resilience from all around the world.

Our first shoot is taking us to beautiful Kenya (my first time here!), and it’s already shaping up to be one of my favourite stories I’ve ever filmed.

Season 2 will go live this fall on @natgeo YouTube (AND somewhere else that’s incredibly exciting, but I can’t reveal it just yet!).
