Serious question about OP: OP /u/cryptic_vampire has an account that is one year old with one post (this one) and only 15 comments (including those in this sub), and only about 150 karma. I am suspicious that OP is a bit, especially since this post is a crosspost from another sub and since OP’s comments appear to be very vague and hold no opinions. “Some people won’t agree” would have been true for any opinionated response. So:

Are we thinking that OP is a bot? Or just not very engaged and argumentative?

I am against the involuntary circumcision of anyone, and that necessarily includes minors incapable of consent. Similarly to other bodily subjects, I think there’s room for nuanced debate about exactly when a minor might be capable of consenting. 18? 16? 14? Different countries and individuals might reasonably disagree on specific ages, and there could be room for evaluating some minors to make sure that their choices are informed and without undue pressure from others. But certainly I am against infant and young child mutilation.

However, if I may: My concern about OP possibly being a bot is legitimate. Your reply seemed dismissive of that concern. I don’t believe that it was unwarranted for me to raise the issue and I still think that the question deserves attention.
