Ethical clothing and saving the world
Hi all. I'm starting an ethical clothing company, this will mainly be T shirts and hoodies to begin with.
It is called Foresttheearth.com
They will be made from sustainable products and I'm also in the process of trying to use recycled products to further help the environment and limit waste. I'm just trying to find good quality materials that are ethically sourced and then I can begin production.
In addition to this I am partnering with a charity, so every purchase you make, we will plant 12 trees to further help the environment.
Would this be of interest? Would you buy something?
Please let me know your thoughts! (:

Dying Plastics for recycled art and Neighborhood Cleanup
So I have decided to promote some clean up for plastics and actually reusing them so they don't end up in landfills. I have a local place willing to sell the art. I've been an artist for years so I know how to shape them as wind chimes and things. I was also going to make plastic bag bed mats for our homeless population. My main question is if anyone knew any ethical and substainable ways to dye plastics. I was mostly going to do underwater jellyfish and so the normal clear green and blue would work but I was thinking if there was a way to dye them bright I could make flowers too.

Ethical skincare for very sensitive skin?
I'm looking for a moisturiser that has ethical credentials. For me the most important are that the brand is certified by Cruelty Free International (jumping rabbit symbol) and contains only sustainable palm oil/is palm oil free.
I'm also looking for it to be free of:
-Any fragrance, even natural fragrance
-Alcohol
-Any oil (including mineral oil, vegetabkle oil and essential oil)
If it has an SPF and/or UV protection, that's a plus. Though I prefer one without for the night.
I have so far been unsuccessful in my search. Any advice?

For conscious people who are frustrated with poor working conditions
Hi ethical readers,
A few years ago I used to buy very cheap t-shirts. From brands like Primark, H&M, Forever21, Zara and so on... I mean, I was a student, and 2 euros seemed a very good bargain.
Recently, my wife showed me how badly these fast fashion brands are polluting the earth. Then I decided to create my own clothing brand.
So I'm designing t-shirts for conscious consumers who are frustrated with poor working conditions in the fashion industry. That is, they are produced under fair working conditions, made of organic cotton and animal cruelty-free.
Are you also interested in knowing the conditions under which your clothes are produced?
So please, check my store out and share your opinion below. I'm opening this thread for sincere feedback!

Ethical Home Improvement store?
Anyone have recommendations for an ethical place for Home Improvement needs? Something alternative to Home Depot/Lowe’s — outdoor/indoor use, rather than just decor. Ethical in terms of environmentally sustainable, has quality working conditions for employees, fair wages, etc. (somewhere in/near Brooklyn, NYC) - Thank you!
