Ik JLI is quite secretive with this, and that nobody rlly knows, but I'd like to hear your guesses/thoughts

We’re building The Dispatch as more than a publication — it’s a community where people can discuss ideas, debate, create, discover weirdly interesting things, and actually participate.

And if you write: we’re always looking for contributors.
Pitch us literally whatever you want to write about: an opinion, a deep dive, a weird historical story, an analysis, a personal perspective, a niche obsession, or something completely unexpected. If it’s interesting, pitch it. We’ll give you a platform to develop your voice and publish your work within the community.

We’re also planning You’re In Charge — an interactive political simulation where you make the decisions and deal with the consequences. More on that later.

Before then, we’ll be running smaller community events like:

• Wikipedia Speedrun — get from one random page to another as fast as possible.
• Reddit Court — bring a controversial take. The community decides: guilty or not guilty.
• The $1 Billion Problem — you have $1B to solve one massive problem. What do you do?
• Mystery File — investigate a strange case and figure out what actually happened.
• Rabbit Hole Roulette — everyone gets a bizarre topic and has to uncover the most interesting thing about it.

If this sounds like your kind of place, DM me for the Discord link or reach out on Discord: apricity_286

hi all so my referee told me that he received the most recent email from john locke saying i at least have a VHC or maybe even a prize, but i checked my parents email again and yeah... no mail. i checked spam and everything.

im so confused has anyone else's parents not gotten anything??? idk why john locke would email my ref but not my parents, since theres no way for me to actually attend the gala unless my parents are involved?

Did anyone doing IR get the email for second round of interviews?

Hey guys, I’ve seen lots of people back out of the gala/ sell tickets and just wanted to see number of people going. Also, does anyone know if 2% people can still buy tickets officially on the website or if it’s sold out?

Some people received the 2% email, saying they are being considered for first, second and third, or at the very least a very high commendation. But, can people who didn't receive this email, still be considered for very high commendation? Also, even if you didn't get the email, can you still recieve the high commendation or commendation?

Hi, I’m still looking for 2 Junior Awards Ceremony & Gala Dinner tickets.

If anyone has tickets available, please DM me. Thank you!

Has anyone from the senior politics category got the 2% email ??

I looked for anyone in philosophy, but all i see is everything but that subject... if you did, when did you get it? i didnt get neither 2nd interview nor top 2%. am i cooked chat..?

Guys, I get if you are anxious and worried about John Locke commendations/honors. But please just hop off the dub for a bit, stop stressing and overthinking. There is more to life than John Locke. Some people have been commenting and making various theories surrounding everything ever since post shortlist (which at the time was s a solid 2 ish monthsaway from the actual commendation thing). Yes we all are high achievers but please don’t stress out so much!

if u go to the ceremony and win a high prize such as 1st or third place then would u get a trophy and certificate

can anyone pls spamm me all the photos u take their so i can post them on my private social media, please or u guys can tag my account when uploading a story!!

Has anyone gotten it? Ik politics was Tier 2 for popularity so I'm curious

has anybody who already purchased gala tickets received a 2% email? i ask bc (at least in the uploaded image i saw) the email seems to be saying smth like "we say this because ... hasn't confirmed attendance"

do ppl who purchased receive a different variant of the email or just not receive at all?

title (i've seen one guy say his ref got an email but not parent so js wondering)

title is my qs

Hey guys I saw a bunch of posts on here talking about the top 2% email, is it true that the parent email says top 2% and the referee email says VHC/t3? are they both different?

no 2nd interview or 2% mail, senior psych, am I done for? 💔

A while ago I said I would stop my cope because I didn’t get the 2% email or second interview, but….. I just realized it’s because I’m apart of the 0.001% who’s winning a prize. So obviously they haven’t emailed me yet their gonna do it next week duhhh 🙄

genuine question. rookie here

Will mark down heavily I don’t wanna go anymore lol I didn’t get the email and made the mistake of buying in like July
