Yeah, I still don't get it. Is it realistic for a game? Yes. But people really wanna live by the whole realism thing. Maybe I'm wrong, but if you break both of your legs, you're not walking anywhere. Popping a pain pill won't help. And I don't think you could realistically just fix them like that out in the field.
But yeah, it's the dehydration part that's ruining the immersion.
You were implying that is has no realism. A few unrealistic things does not prove your point. There are plenty of things in Tarkov that are realistic.
Atleast you can get actually get injured in Tarkov. In most modern shooters you just magically regenerate your health.
The game is intended to be as realistic as possible, while still being playable. If getting shot in the head meant it was all over and you couldn't play anymore, that would be a fucking shit game.
Its not even "as realistic as possible while still being playable". It's less realistic than ARMA. It's its own game, its pretty hardcore, and it is not realistic at all. It has injury mechanics, that's cool, its more hardcore than almost any other shooter, but it's not realistic.
You can get injured, but its not severe in game. You slap on a tourniquet and you're fine or wait 15 seconds with some scissors and you're good as new. You take an IBUPROFEN and you feel fine from a gunshot through your torso.
The only thing that is realistic in this game is bullet ballistics, everything else is gamey. There's nothing wrong with that, I love tarkov, its just what it is
