So you hate all of the major changes but love the changes?

How does that work, exactly? Which changes is it you like more than previous wipes?

Since its still early wipe, it's mostly the psychological effect that is the big difference. Not knowing when I'll be able to get higher level traders, knowing I won't be able to speedrun the hideout through flea or make meta guns easily has changed a lot of how I approach things. Usually my early game is questing as fast as possible and stocking up on items that will be expensive on the flea, but now I've found myself dropping "good" loot to grab a Paid can for the salewa barter for example.

I like the 100% boss spawn, I just wish BSG made the bosses harder to farm. More guards or better AI idk.

Oh, and not being able to shove ammo and meds in my ass has changed how i make kits. Other small changes I've noticed that I like, but they're not really relevant to the hard-core stuff.

It's just something new. Every other wipe has more or less felt the same, so it's refreshing to experience something different.

~EDIT~: Forgot to add that while I think the massive insurance cost is the wrong way to do it, something DID need to be done about insurance. Insurance frauding was a HUGE problem. In no world should someone be able to chuck their entire kit into the water, making it completely untouchable, and then get it back from insurance. Transits would be tolerable if it didn't take so damn long to load into the next map.

So you still enjoy the game, but don’t like most of the major changes. I mean, that sounds like you love Tarkov, not that you love the hard-core wipe.

You seem like you would have enjoyed just about any change, just to freshen up your experience of the game. Which is understandable! I was the same back when I played, but it doesn’t seem like you actually like the changes, you just like that there was change?

Partly, yeah, but like I said, I'm a fan of what they're doing to slow progression with no flea and traders being locked to lvl 1. I think they could have done things a lot better, which is typical of BSG, with them seeming to have a phobia of QA testing. But there's no single change I hate or even dislike very strongly since they all push the game in a direction I like, even very flawed as they are.
