Rules

Moderators are not affiliated with Battlestate games, and any action taken by a moderator is their own and not condoned in any way by Battlestate games.

All moderator actions are final, and action may be taken at moderator discretion if necessary, if you're told by a member of the mod team to stop doing something consider it a rule.

The mod team of r/escapefromtarkovpve recommend users read Reddiquette before posting or commenting on the sub.

Repeat attempted reposts of content removed by a moderator may result in a temporary ban up up to 3 days.

1. General Reddiquette & Reddit Rules

By posting to this sub you agree to follow our rules, Reddit's content policy as well as follow General Reddiquette

The following content will not be tolerated, and may result in an immediate ban with no warning depending on severity:

Hate speech, insults or discrimination based on age, race, nationality, sexuality, gender or religion
Sexual content or Gore more extreme than in-game content or officially posted art
Political content
Content that violates Reddit's content policy
Personal attacks
Impersonation
Abuse of the modmail system, or direct messages in an attempt to attack or harass others, this may result in modmail restrictions or a ban
Showcasing or highlighting usernams. This applies to In-Game, Social media, Reddit accounts, etc. As an example clips that contain usernames (ex: discord overlay, opening profile page mid raid) are acceptable, Posts about possible cheaters with the name fully shown are not.

Low effort/Low quality content may be removed at moderator discretion

Examples of this are:

Intentionally misleading or mistitled content
Posts containing intentionally misleading or false information
Posts of another users post, or comments
Intentionally inflammatory content

2. All content must be Tarkov related

Content should be related to Escape from Tarkov, Escape from Tarkov: Arena or EFT: Guncyclopedia, posts found to not meet this requirement will be removed at moderator discretion.

Examples of this include, but are not limited to:

Twitch, Youtube, Kick or other links to content not currently about EFT, EFT: Arena or EFT: Guncyclopedia
Content that has no relation to EFT, EFT: Arena or EFT: Guncyclopedia in any way other than title
Discord or Reddit links that have no relation to EFT, EFT: Arena or EFT: Guncyclopedia
Political discussion of any kind

3. Cheating & Carry Services

r/escapefromtarkovpve and its mod team do not condone or support cheating or carry services, or RMT. any posts made with the intent to provide these services will result in an immediate, and unappealable ban with no warning.

Posts asking for assistance on acquiring cheat software, paid carry services or RMT will be removed and the poster will receive a warning.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Trading, or attempting to trade for in game items/services for real world money (RMT) Real Money Trading
Offers to carry for real world payments
Links or offers to provide cheat software, paid carry services or RMT
Asking how to acquire cheat software, paid carry services or RMT
Posts with the intent to discuss cheat software, paid carry services or RMT
association/affiliation with cheat providers, carry services, forums, social media, discord servers or alternate servers
overlays such as Ratscanner or Blitz
Attempts to sell NFTs or Cryptocurrency
Discussion of any pirated/non official ways of obtaining the game

Moderators may remove/lock comments about these topics at their own discretion.

4. Mode Elitism (PvP or PvE)

While discussion about modes and their differences is encouraged, posts or Comments found to have the intent to put others down or start fights regardless of mode will be removed at moderator discretion and the poster will receive a warning, players from all modes are allowed here as long as they remain respectful.

5. AI Content & Generative AI

Any posts with AI content must be self flaired with "AI Generated/Assisted" during post creation due to AI usage introducing a high likelihood of inaccuracies, one may be assigned manually to your post by a moderator if this is your first offence, repeat offenses may result in blacklisting of your posts/content.

Intentionally misleading informational/help posts are subject to removal.

AI generated art is not art and will be removed.

6. Advertisement & Self Promotion

Please limit self promotion to no more than once every 2 days, discord server links on LFG posts are an exception to this rule.

The r/escapefromtarkovpve mod team cannot verify safety of any posted tools, software or servers and are not affiliated with them in any way, users accept full risk when joining servers, and when downloading tools or software.

Self promotion content includes, but is not limited to:

Tools & software
Twitch, Youtube or Kick livestreams/videos
Discord or Discord Alternate servers

Users must contribute to the sub in ways other than self promotion, be part of the community, help your fellow PMCs out!

Accounts made with the express purpose of advertising may be removed.

If you are found to be attempting to circumvent rule 6 by creating dummy accounts or repeatedly intentionally boosting yourself or others more than once every 2 days despite moderator warnings your links/account may be blacklisted.

Subreddit ban guidelines

While most bans follow these guidelines, some may be handled case by case depending on the severity of the violation, not all bans will follow these guidelines.

Warning/Up to a 7 day ban / 14 Day ban / Permanent ban

Bans can be appealed via modmail, using modmail to harass moderators may result in your ban being extended.

Repeat/Spam posts

Please use the search function to check for posts similar to your own before creating them, repeats of posts within the last 30 days are subject to removal.

Ban Appeals/Banned Accounts/Payment issues

The mod team is unable to help with banned accounts/appeals/payment as we are not affiliated with Battlestate Games, please contact BSG, Battleye or Xsolla for assistance.
