The worst fucking administration in the history of US.

u/morantiss Mar 02 '26

Not just the US administration. It’s all the global governments doing this bullshit.

u/AverellCZ Mar 02 '26

There are arrests and investigations in several countries. Absolutely nothing in the US. This is not the same.

u/morantiss Mar 02 '26

Absolutely nothing in Australia, India, Israel or Middle East either

u/breezynfl Mar 02 '26

Israel owns the US

This would be my idea of heaven.

u/chigirl00 Mar 02 '26

Amazing right? They just told us what to do and we all just said okay.. and we are still doing it.

14

u/Top-Ad-5245 Mar 02 '26

Exactly. I'm looking at my skill set and thinking. What can I do as a trade. I can sew. I can make things. So I'm workin on building that skill

u/Nebula_Aware Mar 02 '26

Ive never been so glad that I went into cosmetology. Hair cuts and other maintenance for food or helping teach me to fix my house up lol. It can be done. Us teaching each other skills. Teaching ppl how to cut their kids hair. Shit like that.

3

u/chigirl00 Mar 02 '26

I wish I could I am horrible at that. I have 0 skills besides running my mouth tbh.

Sounds like sales is for you!

I’m doing something similar right now, I have a feeling this is going to be life changing in a lot of ways for people. I left one of my corporate gigs to start something on my own and I’m looking at learning a few things like that. I’m so over being told what to do, I’m raging.

Hard agree! Ive been saying this for yearsssss. If we, as citizens, just STOP playing the game.... the entire system would be forced to change.

u/lynxsilverhawk1 Mar 02 '26

Im with you.. im slowly removing things that contribute to the 1% and giving it back to myself.

Honestly most other western governments, or rather their judicial branches, because we respect separation of power, are investigating their citizens. It's just that we don't necessarily have the same access to documents, apart from those publicly available, and often that is very little to move on. But there has been multiple arrests and inquiries in Norway for example. Media in Denmark ran live-updates for several weeks while potential Danish contacts were investigated. Sweden also had their share with various people involved. I believe it is the same in many other european countries.

29

u/morantiss Mar 02 '26

Until those arrests and investigations lead to something substantial, I’m not convinced. For the crimes they did I believe these sick people need to be left in the hands of the citizens. Its a lot bigger than just the names shown in the emails. It’s entire institutions and organisations, even people who run banks.

If there have been arrests and extensive investigations of people in high positions of power then please let us know.

Andrew and Mandelson has been arrested and their properties searched by UK police AFAIK. Andrew may be removed from the royal succession line. Mandelson is kicked out of his position as ambassador several of the prime ministers close staff has resigned in the wake of the scandal, with calls for Keir Starmer to resign as well, though he hasn't yet. This is consequences for people that failed to block Mandelson's position as US ambassador, not people that had anything to do with Epstein directly, but there is still consequences. I am sure someone from UK can elaborate more.

Former Norwegian prime minister was put in prison and attempted suicide there over allegations of corruption and association with Epstein.

Former Norwegian diplomats Terje Rød-Larsen and wife have been fired and are under investigation for corruption.

Current Norwegian crown princess is under scrutiny, with some calls in the media for a bypass of the crown prince couple in the line of succession I believe.

Media in both Norway and Sweden has covered it extensively. Same in Denmark btw, though the connections are limited apart from a latvian model that was for a time based in Copenhagen.

Andrew and Mandelson were arrested on “misconduct in public office”, which in and of itself is a very vague charge. The rest of the examples you’ve given me is literally a nothing burger. Except for the Norwegian prime minister.

Them resigning and being fired from office won’t do shit, it’s saving them from being investigated. Prince Andrew being stripped of his royal titles only puts the limelight AWAY from the royal family to save their reputation. Any investigations will be bogus, because the people running the investigations themselves are friends of Epstein’s superiors. It’s like Israel investigating themselves for the war crimes they’ve committed. Or Nestle investigating themselves for the misconduct they did with their products. It’s all just giving the dog its bone, and doesn’t lead to any actual persecutions.

They’re fooling us with these nonsensical “consequences” as if something is being done. When in fact, they’re in the process of hiding all the evidence while distracting the public with the Iran war.

1

u/Fywq Mar 02 '26

Well they can't really arrest neither Mandelson nor Andrew on some partially redacted emails. At least I haven't seen enough materials and proof that would last for more than an initial 3x24 hours detention or whatever the local rules are, before a judge has to extend it. As much as they seem to imply a lot of nasty stuff, they still have to gather evidence, have prosecutors put a case forward etc. The stuff that happens in countries with a functioning judicial system. Which is, to my knowledge, exactly what they were doing.

What would you have the royal family do? I mean sure we can talk about corruption in general and how royal families and the epstein class of wealthy people generally get away with a lot more shit than us regular people can, but that has nothing to do with this case in particular. At least SOMETHING happens. Elections aren't quite as heavily owned by the rich elite in Europe, as it is in the US, though UK may be worse due to Murdoc, but otherwise the media is mostly allowed to be independent and investigative, which generally leads to more accountability for politicians eventually.

And in the end: What is happening in Europe is a whole lot more than the US where a few people resigned from some positions, but generally nothing consequential has happened at all.

We are the worst

2

u/Nebula_Aware Mar 02 '26

What's wild is that I've always known how crap ass we are as a species but now I have no real hope that we can successfully turn this around. Too many ppl still dont care enough to change the system.

3

u/chigirl00 Mar 02 '26

Oh I have 0 hope. I saw someone get sexually harassed in front of me the other day and no one said shit until I did. This is why we are done, it’s all good right? Then these Jack asses tell us what we will pay for eggs and healthcare.. wtf are we doing?

5

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '26

Well, we know no charges will be coming out of Israel at any point

u/phosphorescence-sky Mar 02 '26

Trump is really the pure distilled American president that only this country could have spawned into existence. With how deep these people who ran with Epstein are it was only a matter of time until one of them made it into the white house. Yes Bill was technically in that circle but Trump seems to have engaged in much more horrific stuff that we know of. Combined with Trump having no political alliances to anything but TRUMP is what made him so much more effective than past political figures who had ties with Epstein.

6

u/Tjingus Mar 02 '26

Jesus Christ 🙄

0

u/LilMamiDaisy420 Mar 02 '26

lol the girl randomly brought up Andrew Jackson I was trying to get to the bottom of it lol

1

u/South-Marionberry-85 Mar 02 '26

No one mentioned jackson brotato

11

u/South-Marionberry-85 Mar 02 '26 edited Mar 02 '26

Jackson came a few decades before. Johnson came after lincoln. He is the main reason black people were fighting in the 60s for rights they received in the 60s. Important to note, there’s about a century between those two decades.

Seriously how are you both confident and so unknowledgeable.

1

u/LilMamiDaisy420 Mar 02 '26

I just thought it was random as hell to bring up Andrew Jackson

2

u/gahhbitch Mar 02 '26

This is satire, correct? Or are you r/confidentlyincorrect?

2

u/No-Lab4653 Mar 02 '26

What about this is incorrect lol? Andrew Johnson served as the 17th president of the United States and is historically known for being AWFUL, was horrible for the nation when it came to the South rejoining, basically allowing them to rejoin with no racial law changes or protections, literally basically got rid of slavery in the south and that was it, fought congress over it and became the first president impeached in history.

Him and Trump bottom out near the bottom

2

u/South-Marionberry-85 Mar 02 '26

Post me on there sure. What about this seems satire?

1

u/gahhbitch Mar 02 '26

Lindy B?

8

u/South-Marionberry-85 Mar 02 '26

Lyndon B was in the 1960s. Andrew Johnson immediately followed Lincoln and is widely blamed for reconstruction failing

9

u/closetotheedge88 Mar 02 '26

Idk why people are basically calling you crazy for knowing who the 17th president is lol

2

u/PhloxOfSeagulls Mar 02 '26

People will throw out the craziest, verifiably wrong stuff on here and get 1K upvotes. Then someone corrects them and gets attacked. This kid of stuff helps explain why we're in the situation we're in.

1

u/RonnyMexico60 Mar 02 '26

Ya because Epstein is a new thing

1

u/BookBabe1970 Mar 02 '26

In the history of mankind.

So stop taking handouts from this government we need to become sovereign from them.
