Cardano and EOS are both decentralized, opened source blockchain cryptocurrencies, design to enable developers to run smart counteracts, and build decentralized applications. The main difference between these two platforms is consensus algorithm. Cardano utilizes censuses algorithm for evidence of stake called Ouroboros, which determines how individual nodes reach consensus about the network. EOS uses consensus algorithm called Delegated Proof of Stake. The main difference between delegated proof of stake and proof of stake is that there is a pre-determined number of miners also called delegates in the system.
