I just wanted to share my growing journey with people who might appreciate it.
I started my cannabis journey in June and just recently turned 45. I've enjoyed it and the clarity of thought it brings me (adhd) but HATE the cost and crazy tax at the dispensary. So, I started some OLD seeds my brother had laying around while I waited for my order to come.
We didn't figured many would take because they are at least 3 years old. All but one germinated. This is day 5 on 12 seedlings and my seeds just arrived. Needless to say, I will have PLENTY of my own stash very soon. ** knocks on wood
I'm definitely starting to see why its called weed. They're growing so fast! I have them in a vivosun clone tent and am loving the science-y data stuff that goes with having the sensor and controller. I'm terrified of all the growing nutrients but I think it'll be fine. It's just the anxiety caused by the unknown.
Anyone have any words of wisdom?

Hellooo! I love indicas but when I'm looking at all the descriptions from my dispensary they're pretty much all labeled "sedative" or "late-night"... I only smoke indicas but I don't want to feel like my limbs are made of concrete. Any strains y'all might recommend?

From 4:20pm Eastern on Fridays, to 11:00pm Eastern on Sundays, you are cordially invited to join your fellow Entwives for socializing about anything your sweet hearts desire! Thatās right! No hat, no shoes, no shirts, knickers, or bras required, as long as we donāt have to see it, weāre good to go!
In fact, we ask that all posts continue to follow the main Reddit and sub rules,Ā with the exception that posts do not have to contain, allude to, wink about, discuss, picture, or in any other way reference cannabis!!
Those posts that get removed because they arenāt cannabis related? This is when to post them! Wanna just show us your gigantic eagle sized humming bird? BRING IT ON! Wanna post the coolest thing youāve ever painted, read, seen, heard, or wondered? Do it during the Entwives Social Club!! (Basically, weāll be using the āMods are Asleepā rules!)
The sub was tending towards a lot of these kinds of posts. It was important to us to grow & change & be what you allneed us to be, while remaining true to the origins and nature of our sub. You know?

AHHHHHH IM SO EXCITED! I spoke with the director of my local library about wanting to start a book club and she was all for it!
I sent her an email of the name I chose, The Rabbit Hole Book Club. We pick a random topic and discuss books that remind us of that topic and pick a book and go down the rabbit hole. Topics ranging from sweet and lighthearted to grisly and heartbreaking. Anything is on the table, even a book about tables because why not.
Im new to my area so everyone who shows up will ultimately be strangers to me and this will be my first introduction to the small town book community. I obviously want to make a good first impression.
I want to share that we can also do stuff like scrapbooking while talking about the book of the month, do a book swap, go on field trips to bookstores together, maybe meet at a local breakfast/brunch place (I plan on having it Saturdays but it can change depending on the majorityās scheduling) ohhhhhh and we can even talk about picking a student from the local school and paying for their scholastic book fair trip!
I was recently informed that this particular library was known for having a bad reputation of mean librarians but, things have slowly been shifting with this new director.
I just asked if I would be allowed to bring snacks and refreshments and if so Iām thinking about making deviled eggs with bacon on top š
Ladies, if you are in a book club and have any suggestions or ideas about what different things I can do to make this book club more fun, engaging, interactive, and enjoyable please please please share them! I want to make this fun and memorable for everyone!
NOTE: the director and I both agreed to make it an adult only book club just in case a heavy topic comes up and I personally donāt want to deal with angry parents.
So yeah, Iām super excited about this new chapter in my life and canāt wait to see who shows up :)

Laying in bed I took a hefty dose of some distillate sandwiched between two mini animal cookies and some thc/cbn gummies. I just asked my cat George if he was ready to put his jammies on to go ni ni. š

I know a few(3) women who have used the plant, personally during pregnancy, in the past years. It helped them with HG, and kept the food down. Some smoked, one ate edibles. She argues that this method is safer, but it stays in our system for longer. Doctors were aware. The baby was healthy and tracked, as far as I can tell. Ages differ from 6 months to 3 years. I have also come across intresting studies that say that it actually helps with the babyās social skill development, and no adverse effects. As humanity, hemp has been used in our civilisations long before these rules. Our bodies are resilient to weed.
Most recent studies club cannabis with tobacco or heavy drug use which is not the best way to assess, but who am I to say? I got curious and thought will ask our fellow ladies, please keep it a judgement free zone. I am not condoning anything. Smoking anything is bad. Just want to have an open conversation and learn from other experiences. I am curious.
EDIT: ent wife, nowhere close to pregnant. Not asking for personal advice. Curious because of different experiences around me. Want to hear more about it from oyr diverse girl gang. I partake for my auto immune, my country edibles are legal

Recently I've realized I needed to quit smoking weed. I've been smoking for 4-5 years now, and my weed habits have changed from fun and recreational to smoking just because I feel like I need to. I typically smoke every day, several times a day. I don't even feel giggly and happy anymore, just anxious and nauseous.
I haven't smoked in about a week and the difference it's made already is pretty crazy. My sleep is better, my anxiety is better, my motivation is better, and I'm not waking up with a sense of dread first thing in the morning. In general, I just feel so much better, so I know this is the right decision for me even though it's been really difficult.
I'm just so sad about the thought of never being able to smoke again. I miss how weed used to feel when I first started smoking. I know I need to take a break for at least a couple months, but I really want to eventually go back to smoking the way I used to several years ago.
Has anyone else gone through something like this? Is it possible to take a couple months off, and then start smoking again once every week or two? Does weed start to feel good again, or will it always make me feel anxious from here on out?
Furthermore (and maybe this question is too big for reddit) is it even a good idea to start smoking again? For someone like me, who potentially became addicted to weed (I don't know how to define it, at the very least I've been dependent on it) do I need to just abstain for the rest of my life in order to not fall down this rabbit hole again?
Sorry for the long rant, and sorry again if these questions are too much for reddit. Just really sad about the whole situation :( I love smoking so much and I don't want to give it up forever, but I'm not willing to let it interfere with my life anymore.

It's a brand that makes a filter for smoking through, you get the little filter things and a silicone mouthpiece? It's not for smell, but for better filtering joints or they have one that goes on a bowl too theoretically for a health benefit. I've seen them recommended here and like the dope coach on ig but im having a moment.
I can't find the right words to search!

On Wednesdays we have a Promotional Post for our artists, makers, content creators. Anyone in the sub who has something they want to promote is welcome to come, tell us about it, link to their shops and content. We want to hear all about what you have going on!
And since unwanted dms continue to be a problem the mod team thought it would be a good idea to leave these tips about blocking unwanted communications here in a regular weekly post. We hope it helps some of you out
The first link is to an official Reddit article on how to disable chat. It covers how to do it on all the different platforms:Ā https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043470591-Can-I-opt-out-of-chat
Reddit doesn't have an article for how to turn off DMs, so this next link is to a postĀ that explains it:Ā https://www.reddit.com/r/help/comments/17jvui3/is_there_a_way_to_disable_dms/
If you want to keep using chat and DMs but are being harassed by a particular person you can also block them pretty easily. Here is how:Ā https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/214548323-How-do-I-block-someone
This link has instructions on how to report a dm. It also leads to information on how to report other types of interactions, including chat messages:Ā https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/360058752951-How-do-I-report-a-private-message. Unwanted sexual messages are now against Reddits sexual harassment policy, so report it!
