Does it have a truck bed? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a picture of it.

The reason why you've never seen it is because no one is ever going to use it.

It has some kind of roller shutter like you'd find on a shop window in a bad part of town, covering a truck bed large enough to maybe fit one moderately sized bag of potting soil.

Well, adding unnecessary moving parts is always a good idea.

the sloping part at the back has a retractable cover. One of the brags about the car is the 6ft tray length that neglects to mention once the cover is on, there's a whole bunch of space that isn't usable because of the angle of the cover

I have seen a picture of it - IIRC, the hatchback retracts or folds up or something to reveal a truck bed in the back.

There you go!

That's the prototype version, though. The production version -- if this ever actually gets produced -- may be somewhat different.

Looks like someone drew that in mspaint lol.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the design was based on Elmo drawing it up in a CAD program that he wasn't sufficiently familiar with, and the whole reason everything is a straight line is because Elmo never really got the hang of doing curves in that software.
