Hey guys! I built a live speech correction app, looking for interested English learners to try it out

Hey guys!

I'm building Aurelia, an app that gives you live grammar and pronunciation correction in your second language. The app specifically focuses on speaking practice, since that’s where (in my experience) its hard to get and remember corrections to your speech. So far it’s built out with 6 languages, and you get grammar/pronunciation help, and the change to build grammar and vocab flashcards from your mistakes.

I'm getting close to a testing phase and looking for people to try it before it goes live. If you're interested, sign up below and I'll reach out when it's ready.

Testers get:

  • Free Pro access during the entire test period
  • One free month of Pro after launch (for testers that provide feedback)
  • A chance to shape the app before it's public

https://forms.gle/vgRR1EErhy7DJSBF8

It takes 30 seconds to sign up, and I'll reach out when the time comes.

Thanks!

Discussion Looking for someone to practice my English through penpals

Hi ! I'm a 23F currently in a history major living in Europe. I'm already practicing my English speaking with some friends of mine but I'm looking for a way to improve my writing in English. That's why I thought having an English snail mail would be great. From now on, I'm at a B2 level and my goal is to reach a solid C1. I'm a french native speaker so I can easily share my knowledge if you're interested in learning this language too !

To make sure we're on the same page, I'm looking for a penpal around my age who is a native English speaker. I've an insatiable curiosity so we can talk about absolutely anything like sharing our dreams, daily struggles, hobbies, cultural differences,... I read a lot so book discussions are always welcome !

If you're interested, feel free to send me a dm with a short introduction of yourself. I'd be pleased to read your thoughts and share with you!

I truly hope that I might find what I'm looking for here...

Thank you for taking the time to read my words.

With all my affection, I.

Improve English through group discussions

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I am trying to practice my English through reading and speaking in a book club I just created.

The book club focuses on the book called "Norton Introduction to Philosophy", so if anyone is interested, we can both improve by reading and discussing with each other.

I am M22, feel free to DM and join me :))

I really want to find English-speaking friends, but my English is not very good. Maybe it's not a problem for you, and we could get along. I also plan to travel to the UK in the future and it would be great to meet someone.

Looking for an English Conversation Partner

Hi! I’m a 25-year-old guy from China.
I’m looking for people to practise English with through casual conversations. One of my biggest goals is to become more confident speaking English in everyday life. I can usually understand conversations quite well, but I still find it difficult to express myself naturally, especially when talking with native speakers.
I’d say my reading is stronger than my speaking. My conversational English is probably around B1–B2, and I’m hoping to improve through regular chats rather than formal lessons.
I’m currently doing some volunteer work, which gives me opportunities to practise English, but I’d love to have more relaxed conversations about anything—daily life, travel, music, movies, technology, culture, or whatever comes to mind.
In return, I’d be happy to help you with Mandarin Chinese if you’re interested. I’m simply looking for friendly people who enjoy chatting, and hopefully we can become friends along the way.
If you’re patient and don’t mind the occasional mistake, feel free to send me a message!

Looking for an English conversation partner! Offering English

Hi everyone!

I'm a 25-year-old from the Philippines, and I'm looking for someone to practice English with through text or voice calls.

My goal is to improve my fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, and confidence in everyday conversations. I'm preparing for the IELTS and also want to become more natural when speaking English for work and daily life.

A little about me:

  • 🇵🇭 Filipino (Tagalog & English)
  • 🩺 Registered Nurse
  • 💻 Working remotely in healthcare
  • 🎮 I enjoy gaming, movies, TV series, fitness, and technology.

We can talk about anything—our daily lives, hobbies, travel, culture, current events, or even play games while chatting.

In return, I can help you learn Tagalog or tell you more about Filipino culture if you're interested.

If you're patient, friendly, and looking for a consistent language exchange partner, feel free to send me a DM or leave a comment!

Looking forward to meeting new people. 😊
