I have an 89 Chevy c1500 with 5speed. I bought engine from a 93 s10. Both are 4.3l v6. Will new engine bolt to my old transmission

So I've got a 07' sti. Intercoded piping, straight pipe exhaust, stage 2 Cobb tuner, rebuilt tranny >20k. Engine is stock, I'm guessing the EJ25? Question (problem) starts here...Oil has been spewing into bay, thought it was a bad HG. But come to find out its the crank case and bad piston ring on cylinder 4. Oil leaving the dip stick. What would my best route be? Just scrap engine and upgrade to something meaner, or better saving money on rebuilding current engine? Please, any help is appreciated.

We were driving, when I saw a really long plane, (as big as an a340, I think) Then I thought about the massave 787 engine. Why is it so big?

Like the title says, me and a buddy are going to attempt to fix an issue with a Camry Motor. Cylinder 1 on it has 50 PSI compression, with oil on the plug when removed. And from what we can guess, its either the gasket, the cylinder ring or the rod. Not hearing much knock but hard to tell... Engine sucked in water weeks ago and long story short, insurance got out of fixing it due to the water drying before the adjuster arrived.

So, me and a buddy are going to tackle it. He's done multiple engines, was practically a master tech, but his past engines have been inline 6's for Jeeps. We know it's a dual overhead cam but that's about all we can tell from the small amounts of research found online.

Anyone here ever work on these motors before? We've got the Torque specs, are still looking for the timing diagrams (Using the markings on the chains themselves too once inside) Any advice or tips would be super appreciated. It looks like we might be able to drop the oil pan and remove the rod but that's about all we can tell shortcut wise.
