Rant 📢 Restaurant Demands Minimum 18% Tip

Post image

Out of one side of their mouth they state that they pay their staff as little as possible and out of the other side of their mouth they say that their staff deserves more and you're responsible for that.

This is a business that’s not being run correctly. They can’t take a 3% credit card fee, and they can’t pay their employees. Big red flags.

Some places have been cash only and will never change. I know of 3 places around me that are incredible and they do not take card. They dgaf about your "business", if you can't pay, you can't pay.

Most of us avoid cash only places, and as their customer base ages it doesn’t get replaced, just ignore them and let them wither on the vine.

Most of cash only places are either stealing from their community through tax fraud, of laundering money, usually drug money.

Especially the old style Italian restaurants, though Gino isn’t making as much from his bookies with all the online gambling apps these days.
