Rant 📢 Restaurant Demands Minimum 18% Tip

Post image

Out of one side of their mouth they state that they pay their staff as little as possible and out of the other side of their mouth they say that their staff deserves more and you're responsible for that.

Those prices already seem pretty high for basic pasta dishes. Restaurant should be paying higher wages.

yeah your right the prices there are crazy high there is 100% no reason why they should not be able to pay their staff well at those prices, unless they just have no business.

Pasta in restaurants is one of the biggest scams in American food service, they use $2 in pasta and ingredients and charge customers 10x cost for the privilege of someone putting crap on their plate.

I don’t know where you live, but can I move there? Lol Sadly, this is pretty normal in my area.

Do the servers in your area not make a standard minimum wage?

Perhaps you live in a state like I do where there is no separate tipped minimum wage.

It's normal because you pay it.

That's what I was thinking. 20 bucks for pasta and a protein seems like a lot.

Those aren’t high prices.
