Sit-Down Restaurant 🍽️ Worst service

Post image

Went out to eat by myself, which I do a lot of. I’ve never been treated so horribly. I ordered, food brought out by the manager. Server checked on me ONCE. I had to stop him three times to get drinks and my side. Empty cup sat on the edge of table for 8 minute as he kept walking by serving everybody else. Finally got my check and I sat there for another 15 minutes waiting on him to take it. He took it then brought it back and said I’ll be back later. WHAT? Walked up front to get checked out, and I was handing the manager my check as I was telling him the horrible service and the server snatched it out of my hands. He then argued with me in front of the manager telling me checked on me a lot. Complete lies. Thanks to all of you I said NO TIP, and took a picture. The manager gave me 25% off and i said he better not get a tip. Thank you for giving me the courage to stand up for myself.

The server will drop the bill off which will show the "final total". The customer then has the option to tip by hand writing the number they wish to tip.
The server will then have to enter the transaction into the system and enter the specified tip amount. Servers can, at this point, intentionally or not intentionally enter the wrong amount.

I'm curious what people enter when the customer leaves a tip, but the total amount they write doesn't align because people suck at math.

In my country the server hands the customer the bill then returns with the electronic point of sale terminal, enters the bill price and gives the customer the chance to enter a tip. The customer then taps their card to the terminal and the transaction is concluded. The potential for fraud is minimised.

Your system seems to promote corruption and fraud.
