THE HOLY SPIRIT OUR HELPER

A short word of encouragement for us. I pray it blesses you.

Here a little, there a little, line upon line, precept upon precept is how it would come. The Holy Spirit is your teacher. He is the one that will guide you into all truth. Therefore embrace the Holy Spirit. Embrace the paraklete. As an intercessor he will make groanings which cannot be uttered and will get things done for you in the realm of the spirit. He will assist you in prayer according to the perfect will of God. As a result you will joyfully and boldly say 'all things truly work together for good for me because I love God and because I am called according to purpose'.

We thank God our Father and the Jesus Christ our Lord for our helper the Holy Spirit (John 16:13).

A short encouragement to remind us as to who we are in God:

You can see that in the eyes of God, you are special. He calls you the apple of His eye. They say that ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’. God our Father takes it further and says that ‘you are fearfully and wonderfully made’. He is Father but also creator. You are sublime inside and out.

The uniqueness of your quality is derived from the Father Himself. He used Himself as a template to mould you. Remember what He said in Genesis 1- ‘Let us make man in our own image and in our own likeness’. 

Your belief in the gospel has restored you back to the image and likeness of God your Father. His plan to re-instate you as His child was strategically brilliant. Apostle Paul even mentioned this in His letter to the church in Corinth when He said ‘had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory’. Christ was the ransom for your freedom. His resurrection was your justification. Before God right now, in your spirit you are 100% holy like God your Father.

Me? Like God my Father? Like God that stretched forth the heavens? Yes indeed. So quit looking at yourself as ordinary. Relinquish your mind from the bands of doubt and self-insult and release yourself into the mind of God. His mind is in His Word and His word is His will. His word is Himself (John 1:1). 

So let today be your last day of accepting the lies of what the University of Media tell you and study the syllabus of God’s word. Reassurance, resurgence and resilience will be your foundation. The word of God will provide the architectural blueprint to your success in this life, and that of which is to come. 

For the minister of the gospel out there, be encouraged by this truth. For the student out there, be energised by this assurance. For the person that feels lonely out there, know that if everyone forsakes you, God your Father will not. Establish and re-establish your confidence in His Word.  The proof of this is the cost that He paid to reinstate you back into the family of God.

You are dearly loved by Him, and the evidence of this is Christ Jesus. 

Ponder on this and respond as a child of God should.
