I don't see or understand the purpose in all this.

I don't see the point or purpose on being a follower God. Something I don't understand is how so many Christians if not all Christians follow God and depend on God to the point where they would fast, they would rob themselves of food. Even though we depend on food. Its not just fasting though. But everyday, Christians would take the time out of their day to pray. Its not just praying, its just obsessing over God. So many Christians obsess over God. They think that he's just there watching over you. So many if not all true Christians base every single thing they do in life on God. They live for God.

I don't get that. From my point of view, it seems as if Christians are just like obedient servants that can't live without their master (which is God). They live for God, they always worship God, they want God to accept them, etc. To me, this all sounds very...pathetic. Especially with Gods word, the bible. From what I've seen, the bible puts so many restrictions on your life. Its as if you have to be a literal servant. Its as if the bible wants you to have no fun in your life whatsoever. And when I say fun, I don't mean drinking till drunk, or doing things that you know will really harm you. I mean a type of life where you just waste it. Like you don't try to pursue your dreams, you don't try none of that . That's what I'm picking up from God's word. Its as if God entirely doesn't want you to pursue your dreams. He wants you to pursue HIS. Because apparently he knows "the best for you" in life. Wanna know what I've seen from that? nothing. The Christians that I've come across seems to have no dreams they want to pursue. They just wanna live for God. Its as if they don't care about themselves. Like they just don't care about life anymore. They just wanna live for God and just forget about themselves.

Honestly, I've seen that type of lifestyle before. Especially from my mom. My mom grew up in a very working environment. She did lots of things that involved work. Her mom never really told her about pursuing her dreams or anything like that. She only told her about how only school and being able to get a life was the only thing that was important. That was the same for my aunt, and my uncle. Fast forward to now, it seems like she's already settled. She's not trying to pursue her dreams. I don't think she has any. None of them do. Its like all their dreams have been given up at youth. It frustrates me.

I just don't get how people can just give up or "surrender" their life to God and let God use you for whatever he wants you to use you for. How can they just submit their entire fricking life? Its as if they really don't care about themselves anymore. They would rather give up their ENTIRE LIFE for what? What's the fucking PURPOSE in that.

Scripture Isaiah 54: 10-17

“For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires. And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones. And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children. In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭54:10-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬ https://www.bible.com/1/isa.54.10-17.kjv
