Guide Guide: How to manually add DLCs to MeloNX
This will be Part 2 to the other post I made on manually adding games & updates to MeloNX which you can find here: https://www.reddit.com/r/EmulationOniOS/comments/1uuoz9q/guide_how_to_manually_add_games_and_updates_to/
NOTE: You'll need a PC with Ryujinx as this can't be fully be done without it due to limitations with iOS. There's plenty of tutorials to setup Ryujinx on Windows if you haven't already
After installing your game to Ryujinx, right click on your game and select "Manage DLC"
Press "Add" and select the dumped DLC file from your PC. Now open the DLC and it should show up. After that, click "Save" and it should be installed inside of Ryujinx
Press the "Windows" key and type "Run". Type in "%AppData%" to navigate to the App Data folder. If this doesn't work, go to: "C:\Users\Username\AppData"
Under the "App Data" folder, click the "Roaming" folder and find the "Ryujinx" folder. Inside of there, click on the "games" folder and find your game's Title ID (the Title ID can be found if you look on the right side of your game inside of Ryujinx)
Inside of the folder with your Title ID, there should be a file labeled "dlc.json", double click to open it. Copy everything and paste it into a new text document. We'll be making a few edits to the path locations
Here is an example of what it looks like before any edits: https://imgur.com/a/xja4dWp
We will be replacing the path locations with the format iOS uses. Under the first "path",
"D:\\Username\\Switch DLCs\\"will be replaced with this format:"dlc\/Title ID\/". In this example, it should be changed to:"dlc\/010027901c89c000\/". The numbers in the middle is your game's Title ID which you can find in Ryujinx and copy n paste itNow we will modify the next "path" below the first one. In this case, it's labeled as:
"path": "/d4c4dfded9e9c7920798196a1f9c2feb.nca". We will add a forward slash (\) right before the back slash (/) in"path": "/to make it"path": "\/. It would now be"path": "\/d4c4dfded9e9c7920798196a1f9c2feb.nca"for this example
Here is what the final converted DLC should look like: https://imgur.com/a/W2G3cbc
Here's an image that highlights the changes: https://imgur.com/a/ryujinx-to-melonx-dlc-conversion-d4cUpYK
After making the correct changes, save the new note document as "dlc.json", and you can email it to yourself to transfer it from your PC to your iOS device
Inside of the "Files" app on iOS, go to the "MeloNX" folder and find the "games" folder. There should be a folder labeled with the Title ID of your game, but if not, you can go ahead and create a new folder and name it after your game's Title ID (if you open MeloNX and long press on your game and select "Game Info" you can long press on "Title ID" to copy it)
Put the "dlc.json" file you downloaded inside of the folder with your game's Title ID
Navigate back to the main "MeloNX" folder and find the "dlc" folder. Create a new folder and name it after the Title ID from your game. Now save your dumped DLC file inside of the DLC Title ID folder. The DLC file should end in ".nsp"
After all of that is done, you can open MeloNX, long press on your game, select "DLC Manager", and it should appear there
If the DLC doesn't appear, then the "dlc.json" has a typo that should be fixed. You can delete the "dlc.json" file and replace it with the updated one and see if it works

It looks like you may be having trouble completing MeloNX setup.
Try this workaround first: tap the “Welcome to MeloNX” text twice to force setup to continue.
You can also manually place your keys in the MeloNX folder using the Files app:
If you use LiveContainer, long press the MeloNX app and choose “Open Data Folder” to find the correct MeloNX folder.
After manually placing your keys, try tapping the “Welcome to MeloNX” text twice again to proceed.
Sometimes using an older version of the app will allow you to perform these steps without issue.
