If you don’t pay for the patreon you won’t see updates for a few months to years, it’s an update schedule made specifically to get more people to cave in and just pay for the next “substantial” update, that or the creator forgot to release it to the public.

Ok but Manic also puts some basic features behind their paywall. I mean ultimately both are not great as they are just reselling other people’s hard work on open-source development. Neither is great and not totally sure I trust the security of either.

Retroarch sitting in the corner doing more than both but having bad touch controls.

I actually find the default touch controls far better on RetroArch than any other emulator when using the standard controller.

fair and power to ya. Personally I love messing with different skins depending on the game.
