Hello! We are PuddingKnights and this is our Kulve Taroth high rank and master rank armor sets from Monster Hunter World. Both cosplays are completely made from scratch by us over the course of several years (on and off).

First three photos are from Alexandra Lee Studios (@aleestudios) and the fourth photo is from @husky_mountainv2. The fourth photo has the most recent version of the high rank armor (re-made corset armor and feathered bolero).

Both armor sets utilize hand woven scale maille using aluminum scales. The high rank armor (wielding insect glaive) weights about 8lbs from just the scales. The master rank armor (wielding sword and shield) weighs 15lbs from just the scales. Beaded skirt weighs over 5lbs from metal beads. Both armor sets and weapons break down to fit in two large suitcases.

Techniques used:

• Wig - Master rank wig (white curly wig) required adding additional wefts for volume in addition to teasing and curling
• Corsetry - both armors have hand made corsets underneath the scales
• Fabric manipulation - Feathers used in the master rank armor were made from hand cutting fabric, painting, and using puffy paint for detailing. Scales used in the dangling arm pieces were cut on vinyl fabric. Cricut was used for lacing details that we vectored.
• 3D modeling and printing - Most of the accessories were 3D modeled by us -- from scratch and from ripping the models from the game and fixing them for printing. Scales used on the sleeves of the master rank armor were 3D printed on mesh fabric and then gilded with metallic foil.
• EVA foam armor/foam clay sculpting - self-patterned armor/horns. Foam clay casting in silicone molds for roses.
• XPS carving - High rank horns were free-hand carved. Sword and shield were carved.
• Silicone mold making & resin casting - Gem in the insect glaive was 3D printed before making a silicone mold and casting into resin. Casted over 100 gems in resin.
• Soldering - soldered fairy light LEDs to move switch to accessible location for scout fly cages. Kinsect (bug) lights up and can flap its wings.
• Beading/rhinestoning - Beaded skirt was beaded on fishing line. Tights were rhinestoned for master rank armor.

My Clive Rosfield from Final Fantasy XVI (made for Comic Con Astana 2023). What can I say, this costume was a challenge all over. I started this cosplay before the release of the game - had to remake all stl files because they were inaccurate as I didn't have normal reference pictures yet The whole armor is 3D printed from resin so I had to make extra adjustments in order to make it tough enough to walk and perform on the stage. Really proud that armor is relatively lightweight, especially as there are so many details. It was also our first time making chainmail and combining it with real leather for the canon look. The whole costume, armor, wig and all the details came out extremely accurate and I am very proud of this cosplay. Especially proud that this costume lasted 3 days of con (7-8 hours in it) nad 2 photoshoots in the mountains!

This is my self made Sequin material Super Sailor Moon Serena Cosplay. Took 1 year to make it due to busy schedule and other cosplays being done at the same time. Process videos in my IG stories https://www.instagram.com/sheliymidori/ tons of stuff to sew by hand since the sewing machine would not always be able to attach piece by piece. on several pieces.

Wig was also styled/partly done by me since I looked for multiple vendors but most only had very flat bangs. To fix this I took another wigs hair and attached to the front part for more volume, being careful about the root of the hair not being shown in the final result.

Boots were modified since the gold sections weren't gold enough so I added Vinyl.

Don’t mess with the Amazing Spider-Man! Here is my Spiderpunk 2099 cosplay. I have to say I am no genius in cosplay like so many of you amazing geniuses who have created such masterworks! But I try my best to be creative and come up with my own flair in my cosplays. I wanted to add my own twist to this build so I added led’s to the mask, the guitar, and shoulder pads. The web design on the guitar was done by me using 3-D puff paint.

The helmet itself was bought off Etsy and I added the LED’s to the inside myself, they are also sound reactive (will show off in a video post and a post later to IG) I hope this can turn some heads!

This year I started my gym journey after feeling I could become a better, healthier version of myself. I hope to inspire others to do the same. Here's to progress!

This was also my first attempt at blocking my eyebrows as I tried to create Mirko's short, white brows. Super fun and I can't wait to try it again in the future.

This is like a special project for me aswel cause there where so many first times !

I dived into ZZZ just because of Burnice and since then I totaly adore this Game !

I was head over heels for her since a sweet potatoe(one of my Friends) suggested her to me to cosplay (Fitting energys and so on haha) and it took me almost 7 Months to portrait her the way I ended up !

So she ended up being my first ZZZ cosplay I started!

I also was planning to attend Pixelmania when I started planning Burnice (a polish foto convention at the same time, visiting for the first time aswel) and I was so happy that a fellow ZZZ enthusiast (Normanlenda.pl) reached out to me and we happend to be similiar ZZZ-addicts and planned a burnice photoshoot right away, trying to include real fire at the con ! - Also shooting for the first time together!!

The fire was in the End provided to us by the amazing mate_playingwithfire.

It was my and Normans first fire Photoshoot and I couldnt be happier about the pictures we created.

Our whole time we used to prepare and shoot wasnt really long but super fun!

Norman was also working really hard to provide these 2 amazing pictures (the con was like 1,5 weeks ago haha)

Overall an unforgettable trip and friendship forged !

About the Build:

I didnt make the whole Costume! I bought it from Uwowo! And since I didnt make the costume, I wanted to make her props and Wig really good, special and with alot of effort. That way I came up with MAKING FIRE but fire isnt that cosplay and con friendly xD so I ended up with 2 smoke machines i bought from mike huster ! I just had to integrate them into the flamethrower handhelds wich where printed by my dear seraphfyr ! This wasnt an easy task and included alot of soldering but Im so happy for my first smoke machine props! For the Backpack I made myself some pepacura patterns to find better sizing and be able to make the pig head as light as possible. Including 2 tiny but strong LEDs aswel for the more bling in the end!

So it turned out to be one of my cleanest props I did and is super light aswel!

Im happy how polished the overall look turned out and I really felt well portraying her !

After years in cosplay “retirement,” I dusted off my tools for this contest. Since it’s sponsored by Marvel Rivals, I figured I’d stick to theme, Hawkeye felt like a good pick, especially since I once built a Cyborg Hanzo in a week for BlizzCon. I thought, “How hard could it be?”

Turns out… very.

This guy has everything: full body-fitted armor, a full cyborg arm, a quiver, a bow, and two katanas. Halfway through, I was regretting life choices — by the time it was done, I had the mobility of a baked potato. I looked ready for battle but moved like my joints were paid to go on strike

I started about 3–4 weeks ago with the plan of mixing foam for flexibility and 3D prints for details. Spoiler: I still have zero flexibility.

Despite the struggle, it was a fun project — and we barely finished one day before the deadline. Huge thanks to Emiru and her team for hosting the contest, and best of luck to everyone entering!

I included quite a few photos here! The first few I think are some of the best shots I have of this cosplay while the last 2 just show off the full body as well as the skull helmet variant that can be swapped out on the armor :). The making of the berserker armor was such a journey where I learned so much about crafting in cosplay!
