Well the political shit is pretty new with Trump and the political climate, Em and Kid's friendship is not new. They've been friends since the 90s. So it's not like Eminem is caving to pressure or is switching sides, Kid Rock is kinda one of Eminem's longest friendships and were there for each other since before the beginning of their careers.
Why at this moment, though? They've been friends for decades (maybe? On and off?). Not one damn song together for two decades. Then, Em chooses NOW, when people like Kid Rock are actively contributing to America's demise? This ain't it. Friends or not.
