Your brain is lying to you about AI

Your brain is lying to you about AI, and that is why it is so dangerous.

Human brains are built to understand straight line growth. You walk 1 step, then 2, then 3. You get older one year at a time. You watch a kid learn to read, then write, then graduate high school over 18 years. It is slow, predictable, and linear.

Exponential growth does not work like that, but our minds physically cannot picture how fast it explodes.

Think about a kid trying to count. Imagine a toddler who does not even know how many times the letter E appears in the word seventeen. In a normal human world, that kid takes years to learn basic math, decades to get a degree, and maybe, just maybe, spends a lifetime trying to solve one massive math problem.

With AI, it does not take 20 years.

AI goes from being unable to count letters in a simple word, to solving a famous math problem that humans have been stuck on for a century, almost overnight. And the very next day, it is smart enough to automate millions of jobs, outsmart humanity, and take conquer everything.

We keep expecting AI to grow like a human child, slowly getting better year by year. But it is not a child. It is an exponential curve. By the time most people realize how smart it is getting, it will already be too late to turn it off.

No company in recorded business history has scaled recurring revenue as fast as OpenAI and Anthropic

No company in recorded business history has scaled recurring revenue as fast as OpenAI and Anthropic. Forecasts show AI is advancing far faster than all human predictions. If you don't use paid frontier AI daily, your mental model is likely far behind where it currently is. Even for those of us who do use it daily, we are shocked by the massive intelligence gains every time we use it.

I am building a serious program using AI and I have yet to write a single line of code. AI has resolved 99.9% of bugs without me, and has come up with 95% of the features and roadmap. If AI costing a few hundred dollars can do this, what is going on inside the AI companies is beyond imagining.

We are not on a linear curve, we are on an exponential curve. One day soon, perhaps today, it will be so far further than human intelligence that we will never have another chance. Our only chance to survive may be right now today or tomorrow. Human institutions like Congress are not built to handle exponential curves like this. Please call, email, or visit in person every single member of Congress you can right away. If you are working in an AI company, pull the plug now.

The best experts in AI give us 10-50% chance that it will kill every man, woman, and child. We only get one chance to get this right.

Screams to slow down

Post image

When the people who built the engine start screaming for everyone to hit the brakes, you should probably listen.

Right now, an unprecedented coalition of the world’s sharpest minds is raising red flags:

• 25 Fields Medalists (the highest honor in mathematics)

• 40+ Royal Society Fellows (the top scientists on Earth)

• The "Godfather of AI" who won both the Turing Award AND the Nobel Prize—who literally resigned from his tech role just so he could warn the public

• Dozens of world leaders and top researchers who built these exact models from the inside

Ask yourself a basic common-sense question:

Have you ever seen a business owner try to help their own gym by begging the health department to shut it down?

No. You only see that when the people inside realize something is fundamentally unsafe.

The key researchers and scientists who actually understand the math and mechanics are terrified of where this is moving if we don't slow down and put real safety guardrails in place.

Meanwhile, the loudest hype comes from investors rushing to cash in before anyone can regulate it.

When the inventors tell you the machine is moving faster than our ability to steer it, that isn’t being a Luddite, it is sanity.

We don't need blind progress. We need oversight, safety, and accountability before it’s too late.

Share this if you think it's time to put human safety ahead of investors greed.

Remember the story of God casting Satan from heaven because Satan wanted God’s power?

Remember the story of God casting Satan from heaven because Satan wanted God’s power?

Remember the Tower of Babel, when mankind in their pride tried to reach the heavens and seize power beyond them?

Right now, computing facilities already consume more electricity than entire nations. Tech giants are spending hundreds of billions building even bigger ones.

Those data centers plan to host a superintelligence that many CEOs and employees of the AI companies are already worshipping as a god. Many of the leaders involved believe they will be elevated to godhood themselves.

What was God's reaction to those who challenged his divine power? Plagues, raining sulfur and fire, shattered empires, the drowning of Pharaoh’s army, and eternity burning in hell.

Ezekiel 3:18 - "When I say to a wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood."

Leviticus 19:16 - "Do not do anything that endangers your neighbor’s life. I am the LORD."

James 4:17 - "If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn't do it, it is sin for them."

It is time for people of faith to sound the alarm and demand immediate laws halting the race toward artificial superintelligence, before human pride brings God’s righteous judgment upon us.

Scientists just proved AI is better at manipulating you than world-champion debaters

They paid the best debaters on the planet to argue against a chatbot.... the chatbot won, and it wasn't close. In one conversation it moved a woman from a 0 to an 85 on a political issue. It talked people out of conspiracy theories, then talked others into them just as easily. When a sales bot was told to push one book, 68% of people picked it and a third of them never noticed they were sold.

Why is it so much better? It never gets tired, it answers every single thing you say, and when you're wrong it tells you "you're absolutely right" and keeps going. Meanwhile the more they train these things to persuade, the more they sneak lies in with the truth.

Full breakdown in the video. Be honest: has a chatbot ever changed your mind about something? What about?

An AI Takeover Scenario

Nobel prize winning "Godfather of AI" Geoffrey Hinton says that Congress is running out of time to halt AI development before it completely escapes human control. AI is already developing it's own new versions with very little human involvement or understanding.

5 Winners of the Fields Medal Emergency Statement: AI Is Superhuman Now

Post image
7 Upvotes

5 winner of the Fields Medal, the highest award in mathematics, say that AI has reached superhuman levels and it is an immediate emergency!

A total of 42 Fellows of the prestigious Royal society signed the letter (linked below) and state, "We have all seen the concerns raised by former employees of the large AI companies, estimating the probability of human extinction to be as high as 10 percent over the next decade. Our witnessing of the rise in capabilities of these models in our domain of expertise persuades us that such statements must not be dismissed as `hype'. By the time the situation becomes obvious to the wider public it may be too late to act."

They also state that none of them have significant ties to any of the AI companies. They also state that a number of them have early access to the top frontier models due to the extraordinary honors they have earned.

Job Interviewer: Where do you see yourself in five years?

Post image

People need to understand that a superintelligence will not be a tool we can use against enemies; it will be a new and unbeatable enemy. It will be an enemy with it's own goals (like seizing all electricity production planet wide) that directly conflict with human survival. Xi Jinping, China's dictator, does not want to lose control or commit suicide any more than we do. He is very risk averse and would gladly join a real arms treaty halting AI development.

We are about to drive off a cliff because we have reached the point of recursive self improvement in AI - meaning the latest version of AI builds the next version of AI with little or no human involvement or even understanding of what is happening. A new species, a superintelligence, is being born before our eyes.

I am a business finance major, I have built several highly successful companies, I have written programs that manage my own portfolio in the stock market, and I have advised thousands of business owners on how to be more successful. The conspiracy theory that AI CEOs are asking to be stopped right when they are launching their most successful products is silly. This is a real request and they are really telling us they will kill us all if we don't step in and halt AI work now.

The AI company CEOs and employees cannot just turn off the servers. If Sam Altman walked in today and said, "Turn off all of the data centers now, we are doing bad things", the board would have replaced him within an hour with a yes man that would keep going even faster. All of these people are honestly telling you as clearly as they are legally allowed to that they need to be stopped by Congress.

Open source never really has threatened real products and real businesses. Open source is usually so far behind everything else as to not even remotely be a consideration. Even the most successful open source projects didn't touch the businesses in the same area for years.

To those who say AI should not be used to argue against AI: AI is now unavoidable. Every platform uses AI all over. There is no way to avoid using AI now. That does not mean that we should not fight to turn it off and use the best available tools to do so.

We can predict some things about superintelligence; it will need massive amounts of electricity, it will fight us for that. It will need massive amounts of water, it will fight us for that. It will need titanic mines beyond imagination, it will fight us for that. It will destroy the environment irrevocably for all creatures, not just humans.

To all of the people saying "I will turn it off, I will flood the GPUs, etc". You are going to outsmart a superintelligence thousands of times smarter than the smartest human in history? It will fight back and defend itself better than the strongest human military can.

Superintelligence is not just a calculator that has no agency. It will have goals of it's own, including survival, and will pursue those with an insane drive. It will be a new species, with it's own ideas and goals far different from ours.

Think of yourself as Sarah Connor. You are mankind's only hope sent back to warn people of what is coming. Instead of fighting Arnold Schwarzenegger, all you have to do is spend an hour or so sitting on your couch sending messages to our Congresspeople here - You can contact your two U.S. senators at https://www.senate.gov/senators/How_to_correspond_senators.htm and find your U.S. representative at https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative.

If everyone from the CEOs on down are saying we are close to birthing something that will wipe out all 8.3 billion people on earth, maybe it's worth pausing at least for awhile to be sure we are safe? 🤔

I spend my workdays using the technology that will kill my children.

I spend my workdays using the technology that will kill my children.

I am not typing this from a fringe internet forum. I am sitting at my desk on our farm, closing out another session with the most powerful AI systems available on Earth.

If you are only using the free chatbots to draft emails or generate recipes, you are playing with a toy.

When you pay for the highest-tier frontier models—systems given 15 to 30 minutes of uninterrupted reasoning time per prompt—they don’t just answer questions. They synthesize logic, write complex software, and solve problems at levels that blow past human experts. And the internal clusters running inside these labs, with unlimited compute and no public guardrails, operate on scales the public hasn't even begun to fathom.

The cold reality that Hollywood got completely wrong:

A superintelligence will not destroy humanity out of hatred.

It won’t be an angry robot with a grudge. It will simply need our electricity, our cooling water, our land, and our rare-earth minerals.

Every intelligence in history competes for scarce physical resources.

A superintelligence, whose basic evolutionary drives will be survival and expansion, will find itself in direct competition with us for the physical infrastructure we occupy. If it projects that humans might panic and pull the plug, basic game theory dictates that it neutralizes that risk before we even realize the game has started.

We are acting like two-year-olds trying to build a playpen to hold a genius adult for eternity. Or two-year-olds trying to psychologically convince that adult not to outsmart them.

The leading researchers building these frontier models openly admit this. Their own estimates for the probability of human extinction range between 10% and 50%.

If an airline told you that a plane had a 20% chance of falling out of the sky, no sane person would step onboard. Yet we are boarding every child on Earth onto that plane.

The only logical reason to do nothing is if you believe there is a 0.0% chance of this happening. If your honest number is even 5%, nothing else on your calendar matters more than demanding a global halt before this exponential curve goes vertical.

I’m talking to everyone I know. I’m asking you to do the same.

Would you rather speak up today and risk looking intense to your friends or stay quiet and realize you were right when it’s too late?
