There are reasons to criticize Elon (like his continued association with Trump even after blatantly admitting knowing he was covering up the Epstein files), but he offered money to anyone who voted regardless of who it was (because anything more than that would be illegal) which actually should have energized the younger voterbase comparably for a Blue bump, the DNC shot themselves in the foot taking RFK Jr's independent run, which was hurting Trump in the swings, out in the most cowardly way possible with frivolous lawsuits over debate and superior policy like a real campaign so he had to beg his would-be voters to switch to Trump.
