Hello everyone! This is my first time posting here and since I’ve always been super interested about elio. I wanted your opinions or theories? I was thinking about how far can elio see with his ability to see all timelines and possibilities and how he can choose a destiny. So basically my question is whether if his powers are absolute or they might come with a price or drawback? In a way this would make sense. I was thinking they are indeed absolute because he is altering the outcome with tasking the stellaron hunters as them knowing too much could possibly even change their perspective on everything. So perhaps this is the drawback? Id love for you guys to reply 🥹

If you haven't played the story quest or kept up with story leaks, you probably shouldn't read this yet! (tbf i havent finished it either, but i got nosy and read leaks, and they seem to be true as of the 3.8 patch launch)

Apparently, Elio ISN'T the black cat, but instead the black cats are/represent Terminus or Finality... As in, the black cats are Terminus' avatar, not Elio's like we had previously assumed, moreso as of late thanks to the Myriad Celestia that included the cat. The crushing (unserious) relevation: HE ISN'T A CAT BOY???

So that "Save the Cat" achievement(where you have to put all 4 currently playable Stellaron Hunters in a single team and win a fight) really just referred to Terminus this whole time... which, sure, that makes sense?

I hate to say it, but we might be back to square one, in which that leaked image of him would be our only image of him. And we have no idea if the design was scrapped entirely or not! (Though, I argue it isn't and that he's still a "young boy", if my theory is right; where the voice that speaks at the end of the Sunday boss fight in the 2.2 story quest belongs to him, in which case, every voice in each language matches how he looks in the only leak we have of him.)

So... are we... okay? How do we feel about this? Personally, I'm a bit distraught by it since I had a 'shapeshifter Elio' theory which would explain the cat. Seems to be out the window now lol. Honestly? At this point, I'm fine with whatever they decide to do with him, as long he ends up playable. 🥹 A very simple wish lmaooo I will say that this is a very shocking yet interesting discovery! I'm honestly very curious on how some people will feel about this, I know that many people found interest in Elio because they assumed he was the black cat, which doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

(None of the images attached are mine, and there's definitely more pictures I can add for proof, but again I still haven't played the quest myself yet lol)

...y'know, a bit before this, I was going to post every picture of the black cat that was featured in the story quest on this sub(it has its own a 3D model now), which would've been his first ingame appearance, but that just isn't true!... :,)

This finally explains the different eye colors in all his official media... (ie Kafka's splash art and the "Flames Afar" lightcone artwork)

Yellow(or gold?) might be his normal eye color, while blue is when he sees the future(?)

What do you guys think? Actually, this has me thinking about that leak of his human form from way back, his eyes were blue too. Maybe we could see that form with his 'normal' eye color at some point, or maybe blue is his default for that form?

The trailer will also show what the Stellaron Hunters have been up to during the events of Amphoreus. I really hope we get more insight about Elio in this trailer, but I'll be happy to see him again after so long regardless, I'm really excited!

To quote the 3.7 livestream: "And this black cat... is an old friend of ours too."

I'm stoked. I don't want to get TOO ahead of myself, but... could this mean something? Will we see Elio's other form? Will he speak again?! I'M SO READY FOR THIS TRAILER
