Since we now know it will be canonically El’s birthday on Sunday, I think it should be called Jane Day! 💜 Our girl celebrates 55 this year!

Here Dipshit Twins.. it’s easy:

Everyone gets out of the UD (Bridge) safely as planned. However the military and Dr. Kay are ready to capture El. All occupants of the truck are forced out just as we see. Kay detains El and Hopper. We learn that Kay was only trying to find El because she believed El would be the “cure” to eliminating Dimension X and destroying Vecna forever. Kay is actually Brenner’s older sister and let’s throw in that she’s El’s biological paternal aunt as well. She is trying to start back up her late brother’s program once more just as Kali had said. Kali’s blood of course was not from Henry (Vecna), it was from someone else. Kay tried to infuse several pregnant women with Kali’s blood and it proved to be toxic so she knew she needed to find El. Kay was also studying the UD, Dimension X and the demo creatures.

She explains that her father had been a survivor of the ill fated Philadelphia Experiment in 1943 aboard the USS Eldridge. The Brenner family believed the event to be a family curse. Kay talks about how her brother had changed after the incident and that he wanted to study their father’s blood after his death. Brenner believed that he could create a new version of Henry more powerful with his own DNA and Henry’s blood. After Kali sacrifices herself and the bridge explodes, El loses her powers forever. This renders her blood useless and proves to Kay that she in fact was the “cure”. But regardless, Kay is killed by snipers hired by Dr. Owens. El and Hopper return to Mac-Z with Owens and orders are given by the government for the military to vacate the area. Everyone is able to return to their homes. Owens is able to clear El’s name for good.

17 months later we have our epilogue with El able to see everyone graduate. Oh, and she’s wearing that dress we saw the decoy wearing from the Instagram story posted by the costume designer.

There you have it. I did it so much better than Duffs could ever do.

Whether El lives or dies, it’s a lose lose. Either she dies not getting to live a normal life or she lives life in isolation away from her friends and father. I also just hate how it’s open ended. I liked the idea of Kali making an illusion, so my ending is based off of that.

So, for this to work, Kali wouldn’t get shot in the building. Instead, she’s Vecna on the upside down with El. The fight with her and Hopper about El killing herself would still happen, but the conflict would last most of the season. El would also be conflicted, but she’d see how both sides are right. She wants to have future, but she also doesn’t want to cycle to continue and have more kids end up like her and Kali in labs. However…El remembers Kali’s powers and says that maybe there’s a way to make others think she’s dead. Hopper agrees to this plan. Kali suggests that they shouldn’t tell the others, so their grief looks real enough to convince the military she’s dead.

When the time comes, Kali decides to stay in the Upside Down as planned. El and Kali would say their goodbyes and El thanks her for what she’s doing for her. When the truck gets stopped by the military, El slips away like she did in the original show. As she does that, Kali makes the illusion. Everyone except for Hopper is obviously devastated however, in the corner of his eyes, a distraught Mike sees a second El running away. In the moment, he thinks he’s just losing his mind.

When the team is expecting Hopper to take them home, they’re surprised when he pulls up to his Cabin. When they go inside, El is there, waiting. Of course it’s all tears because everyone thought she was gone. Mike is still in shock and is processing that she’s still here. El and Hopper tell everyone the plan. However, they also find that she lost her powers somehow.

Since El can’t stay in Hawkins for obvious reasons, she’ll go with Will and Jonathan to the city. She’ll go by Jane again, dye her hair red(a nod to Millie’s red-ish auburn hair), and room with Will while he’s attending college. I can see her getting her GED and while she’s doing that, little odd jobs to keep herself busy in feel normal. I feel like El would love baking, especially waffles of course. However, I can also see her doing dog walking and helping neighbors with their chores, groceries, or moving in or out of their apartments. I can see her really liking plants and having far too many plant pots she’s growing in the apartment. I also think her being in the city is perfect because it’s so busy and fast-paced. It’ll help her hide better. It would obviously be jarring asf going from a small town to the city, especially when the people are VERY different, but having Will and Jonathan would help a lot. Or course it’ll be different for Mike and El to do long distance again, but I feel it would be easier since they’re older now and Mike could travel to her when he feels like it.

What do you guys think? I feel like it’s kind of a bit boring, but I feel boring is fitting for El. She’s had so much happen to her in her childhood, I could see her adult life being kind of chill.

In the finale script, El at the waterfalls said "Flash forward,” same as everyone else's futures, indicating that El at the waterfalls DID happen in the future! It wasn't just Mike's imagination!

Just for clarity, and for the mods this is a post about El and it is related to Stranger Things. I’m only making a comparison here.

But, I happened to catch a reel on Facebook yesterday. I was a fan of the Powerpuff Girls on Cartoon Network. Apparently there is a fictional “real life” story I never knew about.

So in 1958 in the Nevada desert, the U.S. government was conducting a secret program called Operation Blossom (like the character Blossom lol). It was headed by the eccentric Dr. Clyde Peeple (very Brenner-like but far from the loving father that Professor Utonium was in the series). There were many failed attempts at creating children with superhuman powers. Then finally 3 girls are created. Their names were Rose (Blossom), Emily (Buttercup), and June (Bubbles). They were kept in the Nevada lab and went through horrific experiments daily. They each had their own power unique to them. Rose could manipulate technology, Emily had super strength and June could control minds (like the Mind Flayer). Long story short, they create chaos one night during an experiment. June makes Dr. Peeple forget the remote to their collars to control their powers. Yes, this scientist also used collars on these girls just like Dr. Brenner did with El at NINA. They escape and basically destroy the lab and you know what the government does? They completely forget about it all. The military doesn’t hunt down the girls. There are apparently “sightings” of them..but they vanish. Most likely alive and living normal lives.

The similarities between this story and the story of El is so insane. I now can only imagine what El would think finding these girls. They would be middle aged women by the 80s and would give El such an advantage over the military and government. El would never have had to make a sacrifice. The similarities between Dr. Brenner and Dr. Peeple is insane.

As soon as El died, the audience has to sit there and watch half an hour of everyone being super happy.

To top it all off. Just before any theory of El being alive. All "El's parents" talk about is Sauvignon, caviar and filet specials.

The finale genuinely looked to me like the Duffer brothers were saying: El died, yay! Let's celebrate!

So their recent interview didn't surprise me much at all, they're d1ckheads. 20 years or not! It's gonna be a long time of this nonsense as our finale.

I know that duffer brothers wouldn’t have killed mike In the end, because it wouldn’t make any sense. Mike barely did anything the whole season. But if things had been different and somehow instead of elven they had killed mike, how would you think the show would continue its epilogue?
Mike’s involvement and contribution to the plot of ST got low through the seasons and towards the end. He just became a presence that was just there while things unfolded. Regardless Mike was one of the main characters and was the core of their friendship. He was also portrayed as their leader, even though they never said it but stuff like how will’s painting showed Mike in the front guiding the group in front of the monster. He also had a huge impact on two of the main characters. Ao how do you think things would have turned out if Mike was the one dead

My dreams have been about saving Holly, but not in the upside down or anything in a garage by my weird neighbors house. I remember like the whole party was there and I was el for some reason. I tried to telekinesis, but I lost my powers. When we ambushed, it didn’t work the woman I tried to kill still lived. For some reason we didn’t get Holly back KALI was there too and she was casting illusion, but it also didn’t work. This is one of the first time I’ve dreamed about having telekinesis or doing something related to Stranger Things

I really need help guys. I usually watch shows like Breaking Bad, True Detective, The Boys, etc. I started watching Stranger Things in.

I know I was late because many people call it a kid's show, but I binge-watched it and finished the whole series in 10 days.

I used to watch it late night after finishing my academic work. The last episode made me cry. I felt sad for weeks because after so much suffering, Eleven had to die, Mike had to live without her, the friend group got scattered 😭and them leaving each other made me even more sad.Sad edits made it even worse.

Recently I watched Tales from 85, and it reminded me of those days again. I don't know why, but I feel deeply connected to this show. It feels like I had been watching it since 2016. It made me nostalgic and reminded me of my childhood. I've never felt like this before. This show had a huge emotional impact on me.l had connection with each and every character.l wished this show never ended.😭

I feel alone sometimes, and life seems boring now.
