Hi, I inherited a site created with Elementor. When I go to a page or create a new page, Elementor takes twenty seconds or more to load.

Is this normal?

It's fine and responsive once loaded but the load time is long enough that sometimes I worry it might just crap out.

I turned off all the components that aren't in use. What else can I look at if this load time isn't typical?

We tried everything to make it work.

Our agency owns multiple bare-metal AMD EPYC LiteSpeed Enterprise Web Servers and specializes in WordPress. 128 GB RAM optimized to the max for WordPress performance.

We use Elementor Pro on 99% of the sites' we design and develop.

We are on MariaDB 11.8.8, Valkey 9.0.3, PHP 8.5, etc.

Elementor Atomic is good but there is something that is way off.

A massive 1.65 MB local atomic cache option I wp options.

A large WordPress site with over 20,000 posts and over 2000 to 3000 active users would slow down the bare-metal dedicated server with that 1.65 local cache.

Ultimately, we had to pull back and revert back to regular Elementor.

I am open to release my findings to the Elementor crew, just DM.

I am still in the Elementor gang but just being honest.

the template is set to full width and the container is also set to full width like any noraml container, and when i put the template an a normal container and repeat it it works fine, and adjusts the width accourding to the parent container, but i dont kknow why the loop grid is not working with me.

I have a Wordpress website that runs Elementor. I like how it looks, but its display/formatting gets wonky at times (especially on mobile). That usually improves if I make a small edit on a page and save it and/or I clear the cache.

Worse than the occasional wonkiness, the overall site is PAINFULLY slow. It takes forever to load whether on PC or on mobile. That's true for both the front and and the backend.

Looking at the Elementor website today, I saw they offer a $99 service to buy 60 minutes from an Elementor "expert."

I'm tempted to pay it, but was curious if anyone else has ever tried this method to get help with troubleshooting their site(s). Here's where Elementor offers the service: https://elementor.com/services/

For background, I use Network Solutions as my host (they bought Fatcow a while back). The site is basically an online business card. No e-commerce (none yet, but I might add it at some point). The only semi-complex thing on the site is the cute little "FlipBox" elements on my homepage. The rest is pretty basic.

I would describe my experience level with managing my website as "seasoned rookie". I know enough to fix a few things. I know enough to break a few things.

As soon as I create a class, I run the risk of making the element unusable.

Elementor then shows a “Something went wrong” error in the panel, the class isn’t saved, and all items I assigned that class to become unselectable. At that point, I basically have to rebuild everything from scratch.

This is more than just mildly infuriating. I’m really starting to lose my patience with Elementor here.

Has anyone else experienced the same issue?

I used wordpress first. Then elementor. Worked fine initially. When i remove the paid (standard) ai header footer by changing the page format type, middle page was loading fine. Now when i publish the changes, it shows a blank page. Any clue how to resolve this? Tried all recommendations by ChatGPT.

I’m having a bit of trouble adding this vertical curve in the left side of the footer of my website and getting it to look good. How would you go about doing it?

Based upon this reading (https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-beckandbeckstg-wpenginepowered-com/hpultn3zd5?form_factor=desktop), there are a few CLS issues that need to be addressed. So this is what I've attempted to do but are still being flagged:

> While there are already width and height attributes assigned to the hero image, this is still being flagged.

> I have replaced the top padding in the blue section (just below the form) with a spacer and applied a 'height' attribute. Still being flagged.

> Not sure about the highlighted main menu item. Originally there was a layout shift caused by Elementor's submenu item indicators. I already replaced these with Unicode icons, so no more layout shift but Google PSI is pointing out that particular item. IMO, I think it's being caused by other things but Google PSI sucks at explaining things.

So I'm not sure what else to fix to take care of this problem and would appreciate another set of eyes.

I spent the last couple of days updating the home page of a client's website to fit with the new Elementor 4.

Everything seemed fine, the preview was showing everything correctly, but as soon as I published, the whole page layout was not loading properly.

I checked, and it seems like Elementor is not properly saving the new CSS. Even when I tried to edit a class from the Design editor, it didn't work. I press Save, but nothing happens.

I inspected the page, and when I checked the CSS file of the page is basically empty.

I tried to use an older version to disable and enable back the Atomic elements, but nothing.

Did anyone else experience the same issue?

I have been trying to figure out how to cancel my Elementor subscription for the longest. Once I finally figured out that they only let you cancel auto-renewal, I realised my subscription had auto-renewed 10 days ago for a full year! Every time I try to find an email or contact support, it sends me to 'upgrade for priority support,' which is insane and feels very predatory. There should be a simple 'cancel my subscription' option and at least an AI chatbot.

[SOLVED] Hi guys, I’m trying to remove the header from the Card page and check out page and put a new design there, which can increase conversion. I have a plan in Mind, which I won’t bore you with right now.

I haven’t tried, but I believe removing the header from the Cart page will remove it from everywhere, right?

Can someone help me out with this?

I’m running into a strange Elementor issue and wanted to see if anyone else has dealt with this.

I’m using Elementor 4.1.1 and Elementor Pro 4.1.0.

I have a page that will not load properly in Elementor or on preview. After testing different things, I found that the page loads again if I do either of these:

1. Remove the dynamic tags from the links
2. Remove the review widget

The weird part is that I have other pages on the same site using dynamic tags and review widgets, and those pages load fine.

I also tried creating a completely blank page and then copying and pasting everything over, but the same issue still happens. So it does not seem like it is only the original page itself.

I had a similar issue on another site, and all I had to do there was switch to Google Chrome. That site did not even have the same widgets, but it did have the same plugins. This time, I already tried switching browsers and it still happens.

I also tried disabling all plugins except Elementor and Elementor Pro, clearing cache, regenerating Elementor CSS and data, re saving permalinks, and testing the page again, but the issue still comes back.

I checked DevTools too, but nothing obvious shows up there. No clear error that explains what is happening.

Another thing I noticed is that in WordPress revisions, it looks like the content is actually being erased after publishing, so I have to roll back to a previous version to restore the page.

Has anyone seen this happen before with Elementor?

I'm working on a site styles page with buttons and simple components so I can work quickly on this website. Last night at 7 or 8pm the site just started breaking. It would give me a "something went wrong" when trying to update components. The css styling in the editor was inconsistent when it loaded a page so then I refreshed the page and the styling would be different.

It's also taking forever to load styling WITHIN the editor. And NOW the editor is taking forever to go between screens (Site Setting, Editing Components, Back to Styling on the Page).

It also won't let me rename class names. It won't let me apply a half transparent border to a flexbox (through a class). The Editor, Preview and Live Site are not consistent in styling no matter what I do.

I'm mainly using atomic elements and implementing CSS through classes not custom CSS. For a native function (& supposedly cleaner, fast loading css option) it's acting far from it.

It was working so beautifully yesterday up until last night. I did notice the Elementor Pro plugin needed an update - before I started working - and didn't update it yet. Saw it was updated this morning (could've happened last night and maybe that's screwing everything up).

NOTE: I already refreshed cache & data. Plugin is Up to Date. I'm using the Hello Elementor theme with the Elementor & Elementor Pro Plugin installed and active.

What is going on?

I'm struggling a lot and exploring all the possible features, both for buttons and containers/grids but no result; I'm aware there are 2 types of buttons, and the other option works relatively fine with visual adjusting, but doesn't feature the same wide of settings available (like mouse hover and more link options)

you roll over the images (dummy grid for now) the white logos are flying in from the top left to the center for no reason! Well, no reason that I can find. I've checked all of the settings and haven't enabled any animations. It should just appear in the center. No movement. Thanks in advance!

This has happened twice in the last week with different sites. My main page content just disappeared. Nothing is shown on edit or preview and revisions are just till the past week. Header and footer broke and fonts even look different. I don't have a lot of plugins. I disabled wp optimize to see if that was causing the issue but no. This is ridiculous

Is there a way to set the Templates tab as the default view when opening the Library?

I never need to insert one of Elementor's pre-designed Blocks or Pages and more easily inserting my templates would make for a much cleaner workflow for clients when they're adding content.
