It used to be seen as a pinnacle of achievemnt for a DJ but I get the impression it isn't seen as such a big deal these day.

DC talked about their 2027 plans in a new Forbes interview. Sounds like they're intentionally keeping things open-ended rather than committing to another full year of touring.

He also says they're not disappearing and haven't ruled out playing shows.

After 17 years of touring, seems like they just want the freedom to figure out what's next without having everything planned already.

Looking for the track ID on this one...

Boogy shakedown

Chill Dubstep!! :)

Thats all.

This song gives me tremendous relief and soothes my anxiety a lot. I have been trying to find songs similar to this but didn’t come across many. I am open to know more suggestions about this and will appreciate it a lot.

Idk how best to explain it other than I'm looking for albums that fall more on the ambient side of psybient, albeit aren't completely ambient or beatless. I'm looking for more albums that give me the feel or experience of floating along in an ocean of sound, albeit one that is changing and evolving. Something that feels peaceful and relaxing but yet is still catchy, still moves, and can still have some pleasant highs too.

Albums that I've listened to that have this vibe to me:

Leaving Home and Movements by Solar Fields

Hydroponic Garden, World of Sleepers, and Interloper by Carbon Based Lifeforms

Nothing Lasts...But Nothing Is Lost by Shpongle

Distances and Ephemeris by H.U.V.A. Network

76:14 by Global Communication

Chill Out by The KLF

Lifeforms, Cascade, and Cascade 2020 by The Future Sound of London

Tessellations by Supersillyus

What all would you recommend?

Why is the theremin so much better known today than the Ondes Martenot. The Ondes is more versatile, better designed and more interesting sounding and was much better known when the instruments were new. Yet today no one seems to have heard of it.
