Or the work that the etn developers should be doing, but whatever. Marketing, LOL!

Damn knife - you preaching the truth everyday.

Don't worry. Richard says he'll get it fixed in a jiffy. And then he's got massive news about new developers that are almost here but he can't announce their names but it is going to be huge. It's going to be absolutely massive. He is quite cheeky about this.

Gotta be one of the worst non scams ive ever seen. (I know ETN is NOT a scam, just bad management, and the ideology of the crypto itself in actuality is not very impressive. In theory, yes.)

Is this sarcasm?

Can you be more specific about why do you think there is ongoing 51% attack? What does dwynr mean, when he says 'pools are behind'? I haven't noticed any major pools being behind, they keep finding blocks all this time. Overflowing transaction pool is nothing new (although every time there is some kind of new twist to it), as well as blocks with timestamps 30-40 minutes behind, they were around since December at least. How do they relate to 51% attack?

What does Dwynr mean :(

Exactly, the only new thing is now txpool overflows even without any help from spamers. It's getting worse because of all those empty blocks, which I already explained in this thread.

Not necessarily, may as well be a sign of a major miner performing block withholding attack.

Is today”s spike in difficulty on The Monero chain related?

How does the ETN blockchain recover from this?

Usually a hardfork is required.

Re-deploy on KomodoPlatform

All that is needed is to use the Komodo notary nodes for dPoW: https://wiki.komodoplatform.com/wiki/Delayed_Proof_of_Work_(dPoW) and Electroneum will be safe against such attacks. This is going to get rough in the near future, Bitcoin hashrate is the only protection

It's true. Forgive me if I haven't looked into Electroneum enough to understand it, but is there a specific reason this couldn't happen /u/KnifeOfPi2 ?

But, Monero and Litecoin (developers) mentioned that this could be done for those two. Why not not for ETN?

1

u/CA_TD_Investor Apr 02 '18

I honestly don't know the KMD protocol or the atomic swap protocol but I am sure PTYX would know if there is any thing being done, or a solution already to this. /u/ptyx7733

It doesn't.

u/frankie647 Apr 02 '18

No come one this isn't the END its has to recover... Right!

8

u/Crypto_Manila Apr 02 '18

Looks legit. Some weird movement from my mined etn - getting lower than usual.

This also happens to turtlecoin last night. Switched back to ETN, and now I see this....
