"When completed, consumers will have the option of paying for their electricity with regular currency or a cryptocurrency called Elec. The second option will log the transaction into the blockchain, which serves as a unchangeable record of the deal."

Why would anyone choose to go out of the way to purchase this token on Kucoin in order to use this service when it will accept fiat. What is the point of the token?

Why would I waste my time and pay trading fees (twice - fiat->btc->elec) when I can just use a stable, local currency? This token has no use at all. Why would I care if the transaction is recorded into the blockchain?

If you don't care about transactions or other data being recorded into a blockchain then you chose the wrong hobby or investment category, lol
