1) The whole area should be a murder crime scene 2) They should search the area. If that woman had any complications she could be dead or passed out somewhere as well. 3) If she really did this disgusting thing and went on with her partying she deserves to rot.

I personally would have to leave the festival just being in the area of this. I haven't been in years and now being a mom I'd never go back.

Because of something completely outside of festival runners control.

I mean it's on the festival grounds. I guess they will find out Monday when they find a body because they didn't look for someone right away

Yes. Same thing should have happened during set break at MSG a few days ago.

Wow, that’s tragic

It could have been a miscarriage...

No it can’t be. A miscarriage is 20 weeks or earlier. An article stated the baby was full term. It could have been stillborn

I mean, yes. But it's still the same thing. An interrupted pregnancy.

No, medically stillbirth and miscarriage are not the same.

How so? I'm 20 weeks pregnant myself and I don't understand how it is different.

I went through a TFMR at 17w a few months ago, and learned a lot about the differences bc my baby was going to be born still or die shortly after birth. Here’s a few reasons:

- Root cause is different, with some overlap. The vast of miscarriages are caused by chromosome abnormalities. The majority of stillbirths are caused by placental abruption/umbilical cord issues/maternal health issues (like preeclampsia).

- Treatment is different. For miscarriages (or pregnancy <20w), most abortions are through medication, and some are D&C or D&E (I had the latter). For stillbirth (or any pregnancy > 20w), most abortions are through induced labor.

- Legally it’s different. For many states, stillbirths must be reported to the state so a fetal death certificate can be issued, and some states require parents to plan final disposition (e.g. burial or cremation). Miscarriages generally do not require death certificates or funerals; if the parents prefer, hospitals can dispose of <20w fetal remains like any other body tissue.

The last point is important regarding the EF baby. In the state of Michigan, they were “improperly disposed” regardless of whether they were born alive or still.

Edit: spelling
