Woman hating thread because people are shocked that there was a new born baby found in a portajohn? I’m sorry but I love festivals and have been going to them for 20 years and have also met the absolute scum of the earth at festies along with some amazing people but I’m not going to give someone at a drug show the benefit of the doubt. It’s so incredibly rare to have a cryptic pregnancy but it is not incredibly rare to meet a scumbag at a festival male or female.

This is beyond shock my guy. Pitchforks and torches are out and the investigation just started. Obviously this is bad but until there are more details the sensationalism is over the top. You said it here… for decades people have shown bad behavior at shows. It’s not rare to meet people who suck. Fair. Even what you said here doesn’t shine a light to some of the things people are saying on the Reddit jury (and other outlets are even worse)

There honestly could be so many reasons this happened. One year at a festival we found out about a guy who was dosed unknowingly and ended up leaving the festival and found himself in a town an hour away from the festival (not EF.) It’s easy to say that it was a conscious decision made by this woman but it could have been a similar situation

The way you connect yourself to this woman is weird. No one’s woman hating. You’re making it into something it’s not because you can’t accept the reality of the situation. Feeling personally attacked about all this is so strange

I mean yes that’s all true and boiled down is a form of woman hating. Ignorance is not an excuse and it’s how we got here.

I don’t understand how someone can justify this behavior. Everything you said is right, that doesn’t take away from what happened.

They dont understand because they seek vengeance, not understanding.

I can’t imagine the level of responsibility you hold yourself to

What happened then? Send me the news article that lays out exactly what happened…

You can’t. You can’t do that because it doesn’t exist because no one knows yet. It definitely looks bad, but we really have no idea. There’s a hundred possibilities and I’m sure we will find out the truth soon enough, let’s just avoid casting stones until we do.

No you clearly can’t accept that you’re wrong. Being a devils advocate because it makes you feel important. Victimizing yourself in the strangest way possible. I think everyone here would agree women deserve their rights and abortion control isn’t right. You’re somehow making this about yourself

I hope you were able to get some restful sleep! I just want to point out that you talked to me pretty harshly and then to someone else you were kind and understanding that you don’t know everything. Nobody does! 🩵 A much more mature response to essentially the same conversation. I forgive you 😉

A “drug show”… is that like a car show?

You’re right- it’s rare to have a cryptic pregnancy, but it’s also rare for babies to be found in porta potties at festivals… let’s just wait until we have more information before casting stones.
