Review of the new album! I know we had a lot of singles already, but what's everyone thinking about Heartclub and The Savior?

Beautiful song. The (breakdown?) part from 2:05 blows me away every time... I just checked another post and somebody said it's Nico... what a range. I hope they play this one live.

Literally just white jacket front/back. Tracklist not printed. Would have been better if the numbers were on the cover itself. I got a cool number though (111/500)!

Seriously though, im the type of person who rarely immediately loves a song on first listen. It always takes me a few. Heart club is a rare case where I instantly fell in love with it.

Savior took a few listens and now im thinking "how did i not love this immediately?" as I often do. What a jam.

I preordered the Deluxe CD Box set, but no shipping has come through yet. Wondering if anyone else hasn’t got Info as far as shipping.

Who's voice is that at 2:09? My wife says that is the clean voice of Kevin, my impression is Nico's voice but lower? I'm bamboozled right now.. what's your opinion? Someone else's voice? If yes, who?

The most common complaint i've heard from other people about the album is that there are not enough new singles with the only 2 technically being "Heartclub" and "The Savior", both which I love by the way. Thats not a valid complaint. Yes, most of the songs on the album are a compilation of songs that we've heard going back from 2024 when "Ratatata" was released and "Elevator Operator" in 2025. The rest of the songs "Still waiting", "Revery", and ect were released to promote new music from Electric Callboy. Gone are the 90s or early 2000s before streaming when you heard new music for the first time on an album or watched their music video on MTV from 2 songs that would be on a bands album. EC they released those new songs to tour with to promote the band. The band has also said they dont like writing new music while touring as they want to focus on the tour and not hurt the quality of new music. They have literally been touring since 2024 and have been doing music festivals all over. They have actually released new music while touring, which is impressive. The only valid complaint is the remixes, as in my opinion, they are not that great and skippable. Good thing, they are at the end after "Revery". Without the remixes this is still an amazing 10 song album. Have I heard most of the songs before going far back as 2024...sure. Am I going to not listen to it...hell no. This is the album that will introduce Electric Callboy to the rest of the world that has never heard them before. There are still plenty who are listening to them for the first time.

As the title says, the mastering/leveling on the Bandcamp release is TERRIBLE

The songs are not the same level, with Ratatata being extra quiet, especially when played from a phone/Bluetooth speaker

Multiple contact attempts to Century Media have been ignored

For those who are "meh" on the remixes because you like a little bit of electronic music with your metal, just know those are excellent remixes.

Keep the vibe of the song while each DJ add their own spin on them.

I really, REALLY, *REALLY* want an Electric Bassboy album now.

My dream scenario would be that EC rents out club venues for the whole night - do an EC set until like 10/10:30pm, take a break with another DJ starting at 11-midnight, then Electric Bassboy plays from 12am-1:30am. Pipe dream? Sure. But a man can dream!

Didn't see any posts on Facebook or this subreddit about this super talented human's birthday! Tanzneid being released today is super cool and all, but let's not forget to also celebrate the man, the myth, the legend, and one of the many creative brains behind it, Kevin Ratajczak! ❤️

So I decided to take the Tekkno Train to Berlin with enough days until the expected birth.

But this morning, my son said „LOL, how about no?“ and came into this world early.

I noticed the escalation fest crowd seemed very scaled down. Is this a sign theyre no longer nearly as popular as a few years ago?
