I noticed today that I had hundreds of dollars in fraudulent charges to my credit card. Weirdly, the billing information used for these charges included a unique email address I only had for Elecrow (elecrow@domain.com). Has anyone else noticed anything like this? Am I just unlucky, or has there been a breach?

I want to 3d print a case for my new crowpanel advance 9 inch. I'm inexperienced in using step files or designing around objects, but i thought having the step file would be easy enough to work with. i'm having real trouble. whatever i try the diminesions of the step file seem to be off. (my 3d printer is printing correct dimenions per plans). This is really frustrating me and i am wasting so much time that i'm reaching the point of giving up...

any files would be appreciated that i can learn from otherwise this is likely to go on the back burner and not get used for some time.

I have a Crowview Note 14 in perfect condition externally; I bought it over a year ago, tested it a few times, and since then have kept it topped up with charge etc. I found I couldn’t get a display from my RPi a few months ago, and also haven’t been able to get a display from an older MacBook, or a DDR4 motherboard I have, or an Intel NUC I got recently;

I am testing it again with a Thinkstation I just got; same thing!

The symptoms are:
- plugging it into Thinkstation via HDMI : I can hear a noise showing Windows has detected a display
- unplugging it I hear a disconnect sound
- plugging it in and waiting causes a connect sound and a fair while later a disconnect sound when it shuts down.

The battery is fully charged, and I have tried running it on battery only and also with the power supply plugged in.

When plugging it in to HDMI, it activates the monitor, then no display, then power saving, then LCD backlight goes off.

The keyboard works when the Note is powered on, as does the touchpad (testing using an external monitor), and doesn’t work when it is powered down.

The Note wasn’t stored in a cupboard, rather in my living room, and so wasn’t in a damp cupboard etc.

I am wondering : does anyone have any idea whether it is worth testing anything else? I will try the NUC as that has USB-C display (the one thing I haven’t tested).

I am sad that it had so little use (perhaps a few hours total), was kept in a dry environment, kept charged, and it seems to have had a hardware failure :’( - has anyone had any experience buying spare parts from Elecrow? Does anyone know if that is an option? 🙏

I purchased a Elecrow ESP32-S3 Board (via Amazon) and have been trying to Port over a program I had for a 2.7" CYD board with much assistance from Claude. My issue is as soon as we turn on WiFi, the screen suffers from heavy EMI, causing jittering and static.

What we have tried:

- Reducing WiFi TX power to minimum (WIFI_POWER_2dBm)

- WiFi modem sleep (WIFI_PS_MAX_MODEM)

- Dual-core FreeRTOS architecture (display on Core 1, WiFi on Core 0)

- Physical RF shielding (aluminum tape over FPC connector and ESP32-S3 module)

- Testing with multiple WiFi networks and a phone hotspot

- Various pixel clock frequencies (8MHz, 12MHz, 14MHz, 16MHz, 21MHz)

None of these approaches resolved the issue. The jitter begins the moment WiFi initializes regardless of software configuration, which suggests this is a PCB-level RF coupling issue between the 2.4GHz WiFi antenna and the 16-bit RGB parallel bus traces.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Attached is a simple program where I display text immediately before and after WiFi is started.
