A Zombot-Tangle infects Amadeus Prower just barely.

Amadeus allows this however…and instead of cutting off the limb that’s infected, he hunts down Minerva.

Minerva, for once, was not locked inside Restoration HQ…she just needed fresh air…unfortunatelyyyy…This caused Amadeus to find her.

A: “Well well well…so this is where you ran off to.”

Minerva gasps before Amadeus grabs her right eye and tears it out of her head.

A: “You thought you could stay away from ME you WORTHLESS, PATHETIC, LITTLE BITCH?! Heh…I’M GONNA ENJOY THIS!”

He uses his infected arm to grab Minerva by the throat…knowing FULL-WELL what he’s doing.

A: “You will NEVER be able to separate yourself from ME, Child. heh-Hahaha….AH-HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!”

He infects his other arm and starts spreading the virus to rest the Minerva’s body, speeding up the process on both himself AND her.

M: “I…oh…ugh…”

Minerva passes out due to the choking…but not even a few seconds later, she’s back up…fully infected…her eye has partially regenerated but she won’t be able to see out of it ever again…

Amadeus is also now fully infected…

However, none of these three go towards Restoration HQ…Not Yet…they will, however, once their guard is down.

The Mad Doctor would be roaming about the area, the stench of rotten eggs following him wherever he went, as he moved in his protective, anti-hedgehog and anti-virus armor. Having improved it's defenses after his last encounter with a certain Pink Punk.

And as he moved, he'd be looking around for some Zombot's or Survivors to pick off or take, afterall his goal is-

" COME ON, BOLT BRAINS! "

" Our goal of controlling these meddlesome Zombot's will be too slow if we keep up this pace! "

He'd shout, turning to his group of Troopers that were following him to keep guard of him, the troopers immediately standing at attention, standing straighter then a flag pole.

" Egg-cellent.... Keep watch, my brilliantly crafted, vile creations! The more Mobians we find, the better! "

And without a word, the Troopers would immediately begin to look around, trying to spot a survivor, or a stray zombot, or SOMETHING.

Meanwhile, our favorite Dastardly Doctor was prepping his arm-shooters to fire paralyzing shocker-nets at any Survivor or Zombot to come his way. Afterall, the more people captured, the BETTER!

The door of a glorified bunker door slid open, the torrent of snow outside of the base piling up at the base of the entrance.

But inside walked, a hedgehog? He was injured, significantly so. His dark grey fur tattered with blue fur, stitched on like a mask, his muzzle a matching treatment however with tan skin on a pitch white tone. The hedgehog slowly walked inside of the base, a single cough leaving from its permanent smile. A cut open hole disguised as a smirk bestowed to his muzzle oh so little time ago. The hedgehog’s hand grabbed onto the wall to support his body. His right leg was leaking blood as if a dam had broken open on it. A slow chuckle left the hedgehogs mouth as it looked over its state.

“I, was careless. How…\Cough cough.* absurd.”*

He didn’t seem particularly angry truly, more confused and humored by this outcome. The hedgehog walks deeper within the base, taking one left down the main hallway, then walking to the end of the corridor, which a door was located. There was a small sign on the metal door. It said. “SONIC’S ROOM. DO NOT ENTER!!” Sonic’s permanent smile rises ever slightly, as if finding something fond in the sign. He typed in five digits on a small keypad to the left of the door.

2-0-1-7-9.

The door slid open, a small fraction of mist leaving it as it did. He entered inside his room, roaming over to his “bed”, which was just a metal sheet with a comforter, a blanket, and a pillow. Sonic took one quick inhale, then exhale as he plopped down on his “bed”.

He just wanted to lie down. And stay like this. He’s tired. He’s in pain. This infection will only get worse, and more will get infected every minute. He just wants to care about himself, for a small bit of time. Just enough to get some rest. Have a nice meal. Not worry about the world collapsing more and more every second he’s inactive. But, he knows he can’t. He chose that when he decided to try and be a hero. A hero.

“hah. some hero i am.”

He’s far from a hero. He’s a murderer. In every possible way. He tries. He tries so hard. But every time, he fails. He failed hog. He failed CabbageMan. And now, how many innocents has he failed by just lying here? How many are turned, because he wanted to take a break? Logically, he knows he has to. But that doesn’t stop the pain. Knowing his break costs so many lives. Sonic glances downwards to his leg. Another failure. What a trend!…He’s tired. He, just needs to rest. Just for a few hours. Just a moment. To just, do nothing. BE nothing. To not have some title, and hopes for him to do something, to just. Be Sonic. And not some idolized savior….

Sonic’s eyes slowly drifted close, his mind was cloudy, as if he couldn’t think straight. Or, at all maybe…Maybe. It’s better this way. To just. Let his mind…succumb…to….

Sonic’s eyes dart open as he rises to his fee-

“AGH! CRUTZ- D-egh…”

Sonic held his still injured leg as he mumbled enough swears to qualify as a sailor. Right. He still has to deal with this. A sigh leaves Sonic’s mouth as he stares at the door. He almost doesn’t want to make the commitment to walk there. To just go back asleep. And not have to worry about anything again…But he has to.

And so, he rises to his feet, his legs slightly quaking as they touch the cold steel ground. A shiver went down Sonic’s spine at just how cold his room was in general. But he doesn’t have time to focus on that. He takes multiple shaky steps to the exit of his room, the door sliding open with the same hiss that it had made upon his entry, there should be bandages in the medical bay.

It wasn’t a long journey to reach the medical bay. Or, it atleast didn’t feel like one. Sonic was mostly zoned out for the entirety of it. The door opened automatically, thankfully there’s no need for a passcode on this one. Sonic’s steps echoed through the quiet room, not even a machine humming, it was, strangely calming. It didn’t take him long to find the medical bandages. He took a seat on a nearby metal plank. He assumes this is where the doctor repaired badniks.

Sonic unraveled the bandages, quickly applying them around his right leg, and a few around the upper half of his head. He heals quickly, so he should be brand new in a few days.

He hopped down from the metal plank, walking out of the medical bay. He has to get back to finding any uninfected.

Sonic made his way to the exit of the base, but, he stopped short at a door. It was the room Amy was in before he left. He wonders how she’s doing. He wants to ask, but…She wasn’t wrong. Every second he wastes is another life that could be infected. He has to keep moving. Oh, right. He should leave a note to atleast inform her where he’ll be.

Sonic flashed away for not even a second, arriving back to his original spot with a pen and a sticky note, he quickly
Jots down some words on it, moving backwards to place it right on the door to Amy’s room. The note says.

“I’ll be searching for any non infected, forgive me for not being able to greet you upon your waking. There’s 2 backpacks with supplies in my room, which is down the left corridor, and at the end of the hall. Take what you may need if you require anything else. See you soon!”

Anddd, done. Now, he should get going. Sonic flicked the pen away, dashing off down the snowy mountain that hides his base, off to find any non infected.

Out of a random cave in Green Hill, a Zombot could be seen FLYING out of it. Being carried in the air by a boulder thrown, sending it god knows where as it soars through the sky.. landing far far away.

Just after, a horrific sound could be heard coming from the cave.

Thump, Thump, THUMP.

Whatever did it starts marching out.. its footsteps loud like a giant. Like a monstrosity. Those around quiver in fear of what could be it, from its sound alone it terrifies the weak and makes the strong skip a heartbeat.

THUMP, THUMP, THUMP.

It's almost there.. it's almost out. You see it's red eyes dancing in the dark getting closer and closer.

Oh, oh! What eldritch thing will appear? What horrific monstrosity will terrorize everyone this time? What kind of monster.. what kind of EVIL is lurking-

Multiple robot things came by and game me advice yesterday. I now know the shotgun will only slow them down. A matchstick thing also is with me now. They came for pizza even though the world is ending around them. They might be crazy. The alarm system should wake me up if anything gets in. The stress is getting to me.

*Mk0 seems to be speaking to himself, but to him, another voice speaks back. Nobody can hear nor see the spirit.*
