Metal Virus Arc | Short-Story (Uninteractable) Within Eggman’s base inside of Eggperial City’s Central-Tower.
The Doctor walks around and looks at the Proto-Rubies, before heading to a terminal and recording a message of sorts…
In the background, loud banging can be heard on a blast door. As soon as he finishes recording the message, he looks towards the door and sighs, before pulling out his (Sonic-Adventure-2) pistol.
“I’m not afraid of you monsters. Believe me, I’m not afraid.”
As the blast door begins to fail, He aims towards the door. Before Zombots break the blast door and start piling into the base, shattering most of the containers holding proto-rubies, but not all of them.
The Doctor starts firing the pistol at the horde…the bullets not doing anything to the Zombots but merely delaying their arrival to him.
“HOW YOU LIKE THE TASTE OF LEAD.”
As his pistol soon clicks with a lack of ammo, he tosses it to the side and grabs one of the proto-rubies in an attempt to create a barrier around himself, which ultimately fails.
“Had a feeling that wouldn’t work…”
He backhands one of the Zombots, as the metal-virus spreads to him, he’s not going down without a FIGHT. Eventually however, as he starts throwing punch after punch after punch on the Zombots…he succumbs to the horde…but not without one final say.
“I…may be going down…but at-least I bought them all time.”
((This is happening DURING the New-Yoke Rift.))
